Il podere si trova a 40 km da Firenze, è composto da un edificio di 700mq e da 15h di terreno, di cui 6h gestiti direttamente: vigna, orto, pascolo e bosco. Questo è un luogo di comunità, accoglienza e sobrietà. Un luogo di sperimentazione di modelli di vita sostenibili e solidali; di accoglienza di rifugiati ; di accoglienza di gruppi e realizzazione di campi di studio e lavoro, nazionali e internazionali in particolare con adolescenti. L'attività è gestita da 4 volontari, 2 dei quali abitano presso la struttura mantenendo un lavoro esterno. Al momento siamo 10 persone tra adulti, bambini e accolti. Ospitiamo chiunque abbia voglia di condividere la vita di comunità ed i lavori quotidiani: orto, legna, animali e trasformazione di prodotti; che voglia partecipare all’accoglienza dei rifugiati e dei gruppi e sia disponibile a lavorare alla ristrutturazione dell’immobile. Non abbiamo TV ma internet, solare termico e fotovoltaico. D’inverno scaldiamo casa e acqua con una stufa a legna, depuriamo le acque con la fitodepurazione, abbiamo un essiccatore solare ed un laboratorio di falegnameria. The farm, which is located 40 km from Florence, is composed of a house of 700 square meters and 15h of land, 6h of which we work: a vineyard, orchard, pasture and forest. This is a place of community, hospitality and sobriety. An experimental model of sustainable living and solidarity; with a reception of refugees; host of groups and realization of fields of study and work, national and international in particular with teenagers. The farm is run by 4 volunteers, 2 of whom live on site but have other jobs. We are currently 10 people including adults and children. We cater for anyone willing to share the life of the community and the daily work: in the vegetable garden, wood, with the animals and preserving produce; who wants to participate in the reception of refugees and groups and is available to work on the renovation of the property. We have no TV but have internet, solar thermal and photovoltaic power. In winter we heat the house and water with a wood stove, we have a reed bed system to recycle waste water, we have a solar drier and a carpentry workshop. We use our own produce and recycle as much as we can. We accept stays of at least 15 days max 3 people at a time. Accommodation in the house. Languages spoken: English-French-Spanish-German
