I had a wonderful and very inspiring time with Anna and her animals at her farm I was my first WWOOF experience and I am absolutely delighted with it. Anna is a very warm, kind-hearted and welcoming person. We had very interesting and enriching conversation and it was great exchanging thoughts and ideas with Anna. Working together with the animals was very good and especially Anna‘s respectful and mindful approach to the animals and the nature impressed me deeply and had left a lasting impact on me. I learned a lot- not only about the practical aspects of keeping animals but also about the right attitude to adopt toward them. In the morning, we mucked out the staples and assisted Anna with feeding the animals. Despite the work, there is plenty of time to enjoy this wonderful place, its animals and the surrounding nature. Anna offers helpful tips for every task, while also giving you the freedom to grow and develop your skills in various areas. You also have enough time-both during and between tasks-to learn a lot about yourself. It was fantastic that Anna spoke English with me, furthermore the conversation I had with the other WWOOF in italian helped me pick up a little Bit of the Language. The living area for the WWOOF‘s are very comfortable, featuaring privat bedrooms and a very nice shared bathroom and a living area. A huge thank you to Anna- I would always come back !!

I spent a beautiful and relaxing week and a half at MAMAterra. The hosts were very kind and hardworking people, who created a calm environment while I stayed at the farm with them. I was the only woofer staying for most of my stay, which was very relaxing, but I do think my time would have been a bit more engaging had there been other wwoofers there! The days were very well balanced, mornings and breakfast were done individually and we had some down time if there was nothing to be done in the morning. Then lunch was always prepared together, followed by a long siesta, and usually outdoor work until dinner which we also cooked together. During my stay we worked on planting tomato crops and transferring the ponies, (i cavallini!) to a new pasture, I learned how to make Marcella’s wonderful bread, and helped her design a marketing strategy for their farm. Overall my time here was very relaxing and I learned many new skills, practiced some old, and got a good taste of what running this type of agricoltura looks like! I will say that some days there was not a lot of work to do or they did not have many things going on during this time at the farm, I did have to make myself busy which I enjoyed, but without a car there is not an easy way to get into the village nearby and I don’t believe they had bikes, which would have been nice.

Wonderful Experience, 5/5 stars I had an amazing stay. Spending two months on the farm was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend WWOOFing here to anyone. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained. The work was varied and interesting, and I had the opportunity to do many different tasks, including working in the fields, helping with small renovation projects, cleaning hotel rooms, and working in both the kitchen and the restaurant. Charlotte and Luca are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. Charlotte was also great at organizing trips and outings on days off, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with beautiful rolling hills and valleys. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I’m very grateful for my time here.

What a lovely group of people (and animals!) The whole team there made me feel at home right away. We worked together on various activities from pruning the vineyards to picking wild strawberries to helping out with a couple of wine fairs they had on. Very generous with their hospitality and knowledge also; I learnt so much about the natural wine making process in the week or so I was there! Their wine is incredible too. I would 100% recommend!

I'LL BE BACK👍

We had a wonderful stay with Sabina and her family and are very grateful for the experience. During our time on the farm, we had the opportunity to take part in many different activities, including caring for the chickens, working with the bees, learning about honey production, and helping with the strawberry harvest. It was both enjoyable and educational, and we learned so many new things. What made the experience truly special was Sabina's warm hospitality and the peaceful, welcoming atmosphere she has created. We felt very much at home and will always have fond memories of our time there. We highly recommend this host to anyone looking for an authentic farm experience, meaningful work, and the chance to learn new skills in a friendly environment. Thank you again for everything, and we wish Sabina all the best with her future projects—especially the natural swimming pool!

I spent almost a month at Juna’s farm, and it has been one of the best experience I’ve had in my life. Juna is an incredible person—very interesting, deeply caring, and extremely attentive to every detail. She has created a truly magical and welcoming atmosphere on her farm, a place that feels warm, beautiful, and very comfortable for everyone. She takes amazing care of her volunteers. Everyone has their own private room, and she always makes sure we feel supported and looked after. Every day she cooked us delicious and varied food, and she also constantly tried to give us more than just a farm experience—always coming up with activities and little adventures. We went to visit her friends, explored different places around, ate ice cream together, and had evenings, dinners, and bonfires that she organized with so much care. Even in the work itself, she pays attention to what you are good at and what you enjoy, and we were never overloaded. She creates an atmosphere where you naturally want to take care of the place and be helpful. There was also a very friendly atmosphere. I met there some really great people. Overall, this was a life-changing experience for me. If Juna chooses you as a WWOOFer, consider yourself very lucky. I really hope to return there again soon and help Juna with her exciting plans!) Thank you very much, Juna!!!
