Parliamo italiano, danese, inglese e tedesco.

My husband and myself restructured and opened this farm as an agritourism and restaurant 15 years ago. We wanted to live a life in contact with nature and the rhythms of nature so we decided to make a radical change of lifestyle. My dream was also to be able to live from cooking it being my greatest passion. We have 8 ha. of land where we cultivate soft fruit, from which we make jams and for cooking. Our fruit trees figs, peaches, plums, nectarines, apples, apricots, chestnuts and olives are harvested during the summer into fall, and we use the fruit for jams, cakes, juice, chutney and other fun things. We have a large lavender cultivation which we harvest at the end of June and we make essential oil from it and before harvesting our bees make lavender honey for us. We have a garden were we experiment with no dig and permaculture, with vegetables of all sorts for ourselves and for our restaurant. As members of the family we also have also 2 Labrador dogs, Alis and Elio and our cat, Chilly. The agriturismo has 4 bedrooms and a small restaurant where we host guests from all over the world who love nature, relaxation, good food, wine and the peaceful surroundings, we are very lucky in the fact that a lot of our guests come back every year. We have gardens around the house and some forest. In spring and autumn we organise 5 day cookery courses in Danish and English for groups. The farm is run by myself and my husband. We really love what we do even if it's hard work sometimes, we are so lucky to be able to live this way. We are happy to welcome wwoofers who want to be part in our life and all aspects of our day from the kitchen garden, agriturismo to the animals, maybe also at the same time learning & teaching something. Many of our wwoofers have become real friends over the years coming back as wwoofers but also with family on vacation. Some of them have opened an agritourism, a couple has opened a restaurant so we really hope to give some inspiration. We prefer hosting couples and you will have your own room with private bathroom in our house, there is also a little sitting room on the side for you with fussball table. We always eat lunch and dinner together with our wwoofers and look forward to meeting you. We speak Italian, Danish, English and German.

We really enjoyed our time at Due Papaveri. Charlotte and Lucca were so welcoming and generous. The working schedule was very clear and the room and board exceeded expecations. You will feel like family as you tour the local areas and learn more about the region. We will be back next time we visit Italy. Highy Recommend!

My stay at Due Papaveri has been a unique experience, one I wouldn't be without. Due Papaveri is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, and it's fun to see how much work it takes to maintain it. You do different types of work, which is nice, the days aren't often the same. Be prepared for a quick working pace on some days. You’re invited into Charlotte and Luca’s lifestyle, their diet, work and ways of doing things which I enjoyed being a part of. On days off work, we often would go on an outing with Charlotte, which was always lovely as you have your very own private guide who knows everyone and is full of good stories and recommendations.

Charlotte is an incredibly inspiring person. From the moment you meet her, you can feel her passion for what she does and the strength it took to build such a beautiful place. Her entrepreneurial spirit shines through everything at Due Papaveri. She is extremely positive person, well-organised in her work and the tasks are also in a structured schedule. We work from 9am to 12, a long lunch break, then from 4-6pm, a day off per week when we go on lovely outings to towns and other cities. This makes wwoofing with her a great learning experience. At the same time, she has a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and valued. I’m very happy I spent a month at Due Papaveri. I have learned so much from her, from her way of working, her mindset, and her ability to turn vision into reality.

We had a truly meaningful experience at Agriturismo Due Papaveri. Charlotte and Luca were welcoming, patient, and generous with their knowledge. We learned a lot about regional traditions, sustainable living, and what it takes to run an agriturismo. The work was varied and fair—gardening, cooking, cleaning, and helping with guests—and always done in a positive atmosphere. In return, we felt included like part of the family and were taken on beautiful outings in the area. A great opportunity for cultural exchange and personal growth.Thank you for everything!! Highly recommended!

Charlotte and Luca have been very caring. I had the ability to learn a lot about the region, the traditional food, their way of life and in the end about myself. Thank you so much for your patience and openness. They expect you to do your share of work and give you in return so much back. I was a real part of their family and they took us volunteers for wonderful outings in the area. Their two dogs are so much joy and I miss them already.
That’s a lot for the outstanding time with you!
