Nel cuore della Sicilia sud/orientale, nella parte geologicamente più africana dell'isola, è il posto dove ritrovare se stessi e il vivere naturale. A pochi chilometri dal mare, ricca di attrazioni naturalistiche, archeologiche, geologiche e paesaggistiche di rilievo. Un'oasi naturale biodiversa piena di alberi che hanno bisogno di cure, protezione e amore. Circa 100 essenze di macchia mediterranea e più di un centinaio di tipi differenti di frutta per un totale di più di 20000 piantumazioni in 15 anni seguendo la progettualità della Permacultura. Ci sono anche tanti olivi già grandi che producono olio di eccellente qualità. Gli ospiti possono aiutarci a curare il giardino con manutenzione di vario tipo e nelle tantissime attività quotidiane e strordinarie. In autunno si raccolgono le olive e si produce l'olio. Tutti i lavori sono coordinati e seguiti personalmente da Mario che vive tutto l'anno nella nuova casa dove vengono anche ospitati amici, familiari e volontari in camere condivise con bagno dedicato. La cucina è sempre con ingredienti di stagione, di grandissima qualità, prevalentemente bio, km zero e onnivora. Chi vuole o ha esigenze particolari, può prepararsi ciò che preferisce a patto di essere completamente autonomo. Ci dedichiamo anche ad alcune forme d'arte, fotografia, scultura su pietra a land-art in generale. Vorremmo vivere una buona vita, con le persone che amiamo, condurre una vita sana, seguendo la propria natura. Lingue parlate: inglese. Rispondiamo a tutti, tranne allo spam, entro una settimana.

In the heart of southeastern Sicily, in the most geologically African part of the island, this is the place to rediscover yourself and the natural world. Just a few kilometers from the sea, it's rich in natural, archaeological, geological, and scenic attractions. A biodiverse natural oasis filled with trees in need of care, protection, and love. Around 100 species of Mediterranean scrub and over a hundred different types of fruit, over 20,000 trees have been planted in 15 years following the Permaculture approach. There are also many mature olive trees producing excellent quality oil. Guests can help us tend the garden with various maintenance tasks and with the many daily and extraordinary tasks. In the fall, the olives are harvested and the oil is produced. All work is coordinated and personally supervised by Mario, who lives year-round in the new house, where friends, family, and volunteers are also hosted in shared rooms with private bathrooms. The cuisine is always made with seasonal, top-quality ingredients, predominantly organic, locally sourced, and omnivorous. Anyone who wishes or has special needs can prepare their own meals, provided they are completely independent. We also indulge in some art forms, including photography, stone carving, and land art in general. We aim to live a good life with the people we love, lead a healthy lifestyle, and follow our true nature. Languages spoken: English. We respond to all emails, except spam, within a week.
