Piccola azienda di 6 ha, 5,5ha a Portoferraio parte in collina e parte in pianura e 0,5ha nella valle di lacona Capoliveri a 300m dal mare. In azienda incontrere Sara e Petra (la figlia di 8anni) che vivono in una casetta di legno a 20 m dalla roulotte e cucina e bagni per gli ospiti o wwoofer. Si Allevano ,21 pecore di razza mista per la produzione di latte per fare formaggio, lana, carne e compost. Abbiamo 50 galline, 7 gatti e 3cani. L'azienda ha 10 anni.
Abbiamo bisogno di aiuto per curare:
L'Orto per autoconsumo, richiede raccolta, piantumazione, pacciamatura e lavori vari tutto l'anno; lo zafferanato comprende diverse operazioni in base alla fase fenologica soprattutto in novembre, marzo e giugno; la raccolta di erbe e fiori aromatici selvatici per la produzione di oleoliti, tisane e frutta per fare marmellate tutto l' anno. Abbiamo bisogno di aiuto per la gestione dei pascoli da ottobre a marzo, mentre il pascolamento e la cura degli animali tutti i giorni. Ci sono 36 piante di olivo da curare da ottobre a marzo.
Dal mese di maggio c'è bisogno di aiuto per affienare erba e preparare le ballette e Stoccarle in fienile. In azienda sono presenti due roulotte con 4 letti matrimoniali e una tenda, con accesso a una cucina esterna condivisa, ai bagni e le docce. Parliamo italiano e inglese. Chiedo in cambio di vitto e alloggio un aiuto per fare le varie attività soprattutto nella mattina e un po' nel pomeriggio ma sono disponibile a variare l' accordo in base alle richieste dell' host. In agricoltura ci sono tante attività da fare contemporaneamente e può capitare di essere soli, una volta imparato come si fa a proseguire..la piantumazione,o cardare la lana o altro.Di solito il piano lavori è settimanale ma può sempre capitare di dover modificare qualcosa. Sono una persona libera che cerca di ottimizzare le risorse che si hanno.

Small farm of 6 hectares, 5.5 hectares in Portoferraio, partly on hills and partly on plains, and 0.5 hectares in the Lacona Capoliveri valley, 300 meters from the sea. On the farm you will meet Sara and Petra (her 8-year-old daughter) who live in a small wooden house 20 m from the caravan and kitchen and bathrooms for guests or wwoofers. We need help with:
The vegetable garden for our own consumption requires harvesting, planting, mulching, and various other tasks throughout the year; the saffron field requires various tasks depending on the phenological phase, especially in November, March, and June; the harvesting of wild aromatic herbs and flowers for the production of infused oils, herbal teas, and fruit for making jams throughout the year. We need help managing the pastures from October to March, as well as grazing and caring for the animals every day. There are 36 olive trees to tend to from October to March.
From May onwards, we need help mowing grass, preparing bales, and storing them in the barn. The farm has two caravans with four double beds and a tent, with access to a shared outdoor kitchen, bathrooms, and showers. We speak Italian and English. In exchange for room and board, I ask for help with various activities, mainly in the morning and a little in the afternoon, but I am willing to vary the agreement according to requests .
