We live in an isolated small holding in nature, surrounded by olive trees, walnuts, almonds, lots of fruit trees and woodland. There are various plots where we practice different natural agricultural methods, some raised beds with mulching, other areas using seed-balls and green manures. We are creating a living garden that not only gives us to eat but is a wonderful place to stay. Last year we built a little pond with lilies, lotus flowers, keeping the system in natural harmony. We make our own compost and plants for the garden. Three cats and three ducks! We have a solar cooker, outdoor kitchen, compost toilet and outside shower. Possible to stay in a tent or in your camper from April until October. Tiny houses coming soon. Check out https://www.facebook.com/ProgettoRinverdireTerraeCuori We are an English-Italian couple. Anthony has been in Italy since 1998. We are artists, jugglers and video makers and practice yoga and taiji. We host events and meetups on Natural Agriculture, Sharing Circles, Personal Growth, Yoga and Playfulness. Our project is called “Rinverdire Terra E Cuori”. We are an hour and half north of Rome with frequent connections by train to Rome and directly to Fiumicino airport. We offer a Yoga/Movement lesson each day and often juggling too :) There is a good mobile connection but we have no wifi.

I had an incredible time with Anthony and his lovely wife Sara, they are both such welcoming people and I really couldn't have asked for better hosts! We did tai chi and yoga everyday and there was a good work-rest balance. Meals were eaten together which gave us all time to get to know eachother and relax. I learnt so much everyday, about permaculture, plants, myself and even juggling! Anthony also took us to some truly magical places that I will never forget. If you're ever near Rome I would highly recommend visiting them even for a week or two just to see rural Italy, to do rewarding work and to be a lil bit silly.🤪

My time with Anthony, Sara and the other wooffers Stella and Clark will stay with me for a long time! I felt so welcomed and safe from the first moment. For Anthony and Sara you’re not only a person that comes to help with tasks, they really want to get to know you and make a good time. Anthony took us to beautiful places. Sara as well as Anthony are such loving and a beautiful people. I learnt so much from the both of them! Work was combined with enough rest, yoga and tai chi. I also had a really good time with a lot of laughing with Clark and Stella. So thanks to you all! It is very different I would highly recommend this place.

I am incredibly grateful to Anthony and Sara for sharing this wonderful place with me for three weeks. Among olive trees, mulberries and rolling hills, Casa mascherone offers a place of growth. Both of one's own growth, but also of the growth of spirit, nature and community. I was able to learn so much about permaculture, but also about myself, through the many great conversations around the dinner table and while working. Every day started with tai chi, which not only made me more mindful but also more energized and perfectly prepared me for the day. The work is very varied and ranges from planting and preparing meals, which are mainly plant-based, regionally sessional and very tasty, to building bamboo and wooden structures for people and plants. The balance between work and free time is more than fair. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place, as well as the mulberries and cherries from the tree. I am more than grateful for the time I got to spend with Anthony and Sara and couldn't have asked for a better place for my first wwoofing experience.

Having the privilege to work on Anthony's farm this past May was a peaceful and heartwarming experience. From the moment I arrived, Anthony and his wife Sara were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating which instantly made me feel at home. Most of my time was spent there, and I truly appreciated being able to slow down, get my hands in the soil, and soak up the calm rhythm of life on the garden! The work was very manageable and lasted around four to five hours a day, always varied enough to keep things interesting. I got to build bamboo structures, chop wood, mow the lawn, help out with vegetable planting and other little tasks around the garden. Everyday brought something new and some wonderful organ vegetarian meals we ate together fueled the work we were able to get done! I only wish I had more time for Tai Chi in the mornings and for picking fresh mulberries and off the tree, both of which brought a little magic into the routine. Honestly, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. This farm is a special place run by special human being and I’m really grateful I was able to be apart of it all.

I stayed with Anthony and Sara at 'Casa Mascherone' for 3 weeks in April. The location is simply beautiful, with stunning views of nearby Toffia, Fara in Sabina and Poggio Nativo. Farfa Abbey is also a short walk away. You see the sun rise in the morning and fall in the evening. This small holding is full of character with a charming vegetable garden and food forest. Anthony is a kind host and we enjoyed Tai Chi in the morning before breakfast, then activities such as 'chop and drop', preparing vegetable beds, sowing seeds, putting the ducks to bed and getting the wood pile into shape. All meals are communal and the food is vegetarian mainly but there is a supermarket and lovely coffee shop in Toffia where treats can be bought if you crave a little extra. I slept in one of two bell tents and enjoyed the nature. Highly recommended experience - I will be back.

First, I learned how to plant, design, manage garden and permaculture. Not only deal with the process and tool, but also how to treat my area with respect. Second, I learned that be brave myself and control my worries. Actually I’m very very shy person. But, We talked about attitude of life, shared with concern of mind, gathered energy of courage. I really happy to meet other good WWOOFers. Third, I learned making my daily routine. We do Yoga every morning, have precious meal with of nutrition, arrange work and rest. Before I was lazy person, but now I’m really activated and motivated!
