Accesso a Internet disponibile ---o----o-----0-----o----o--- My husband and I have turned our passion for organic and sustainable farming into our main employment, atogether with our 3 children aged 10, 8 and 5. We are in Bosco Montello (in the province of Treviso - in the Veneto region of Italy) at 350 meters above sea level and 20 km from the Valdobbiadene Hills - a UNESCO heritage site. We like to respect the traditions of our area, the woods and the land around us, and we want to teach our children and those who want to visit us how to eat well and healthily. On our farm we grow potatoes, olive trees to make extra virgin olive oil, wheat from ancient grains, and care for the bees who give us their honey. We have a small family vegetable garden, some chickens, turkeys and geese as well as 4 dwarf goats and a donkey. We are also an educational farm and welcome school groups, children and adults. My husband speaks English and understands German, while I feel like brushing up on my high school English and some Spanish. There is the option of sleeping in tents in our olive groves or in a single room with bathroom inside our house. Organic methods used: green manure, cultural rotation, mulching Current projects: In the spring we are busy with educational farm tours for adults, children and school groups. From June to September we will be busy with the potato harvest and in October with the olive harvest. Also in June and July we welcome children for summer weeks on the farm. From December to March we will be cutting wood in the forest and storing it. Internet available

I truly enjoyed staying with Erica and her family. Not only did I learn a lot about harvesting olives, but they were so kind and welcoming all the time, so I felt like part of the family from the first day. The house and garden are beautiful and it's great fun to watch the donkey and cats and the other animals. I hope to come back another time, to spend some more time in this great place.

Erica and her family were a dream to be a part of for a week. They were perfectly accommodating to my needs, very considerate, and grateful for the opportunity to connect and for the work I provided. Not only that, but her family treated me like one of their own. This was a remarkable experience and anyone would be lucky to have the opportunity to work and stay with Erica and her family! The olive oil was the best I’ve ever had! I hope to return!

Of all the experiences I’ve had on WWOOF, this is by far the best. My time shared with Erica, Fabrizio, Paolo, Fabio, and Dario was incredible, and I will always carry it in my heart. They have an impressive farm with some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen, an incredible olive field, and a wide variety of animals to learn from. They are truly interesting and knowledgeable people. All the work they do is done well, and I’m impressed by how the products they sell are not treated like a cold business they really involve themselves in having human contact with their customers and in showing them how their products are made. My week there was very productive, and I was involved in a variety of tasks. Even with the rain, everything was productive. Their children are adorable and well-behaved truly an example of how to have a beautiful family and how to raise children. The food is delicious, and the private room and bathroom, along with comfort and privacy, are things rarely seen on this platform. I am always grateful for having had the opportunity to try their delicious olive oil, help with the wooden shelves, collect lots of fruit for making jam, assist with the farm animals, potato harvesting, and enjoy countless games and laughs with the children. Honestly, I could not recommend this place more<333

Tanti auguri a voi!

Really nice family, respectful and considerate, highlight are their amazing, respectful kids who, even though very young, act like adults. I was accepted and felt as another member of the family.
