Giardinaggio. Cucina. Escursioni a piedi. Pulizia rogge. Pulizia bosco . In a minimally man-made place, where nature has a strong predominant character, he has started some farming and breeding activities respecting the optimal conditions that the environment presents. The 'maronari' on the property, as in the entire Italian municipality, are more than a hundred years old and bear witness to the presence of farming culture since the time of the Cimbrian colonisation of north-eastern Italy. On the farm, we practise natural farming with eco and organic materials. We grow vegetables, tend olive groves and orchards. We practise traditional beekeeping with Dadant apiaries. Letizia Chandra Maria, born in 2005, student, helps to raise around 50 laying hens in a travelling henhouse of family inventiveness. We have three Carthusian cats and two Lagorai shepherd dogs. We host cultural and entertainment activities. Accommodation is on an independent 45sqm studio apartment and use of shared laundry facilities. Keep and leave clean.During the summer, an area in a restored barn is also available. The wwoofers can help with mowing the lawns and forming sheaves, collecting wood from the woods, managing the hens, preparing the soil for crops, sowing, harvesting and processing nature's produce, gardening and in the kitchen. Care wood. Clean river. Last but not least, Francesco videomaker and photographer cultivates professionalism of photography, born from the young age of 16 with the recognition of important organisations such as the National Geographic or the Italian CAI. He works sometimes at farm. The property is located at a modest distance from the major towns of the plains and is easily accessible. A place suitable for hiking We speak Italian, English and French. Sabine and her family were so welcoming to us, and really made us feel at home in this woofing experience. The work was super fun and interesting, and we learnt a lot about so many different aspects of the farm and their different contributions. The surrounding area we explored was beautiful and the food we had was delicious. The time we spent with their family was so wonderful and personal, and is something we will truly miss, we wish we had spent more time with them if anything :)

Grazie mille ancora Sabi :)

Sabina and her family were great hosts. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel like part of their everyday life. We really appreciated having our own apartment for comfort, yet we often still preferred spending time in their home, enjoying their company. Sabina gave us a few tasks but encouraged us to approach them with our own creativity, which we really valued. We shared long, meaningful conversations over lunch and dinner, and we especially enjoyed chatting with their daughter Letizia about German music. Together with the family we went to a pizzeria, explored their hometown, and even visited one of their relatives. The whole experience felt natural and comfortable.

This was our first experience of wwoofing and we are both extreamily greatful it was with Sabina and her family. they all welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. Sharing a week with them, learning about the farm and the eco-system it lives in, sharing lunches and dinners, making pasta and gnocchi and travelling to neighbouring towns - simply experiencing their way of life, was such a warm experience that we will remember with a smile. Sabina said they are a crazy family - from the best kind! thank you all for this experience and thank you Sabina for being so generous, kind and passionate about your way of living. Warm wishes to all! ❤️

This was my first WWOOFing experience and I'm glad it was with Sabina and her family. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, they took care of me like I was a dear friend. My 2 weeks at the farm was an eye-opening, warm, insightful, special and unforgettable experience! Not only was I able to gain a lot of farming knowledge, but I also learnt a lot about Italian culture, food, language and more :) Speaking to Sabina, Letizia, Andrea, Simone and Francesco, I was inspired in many subtle ways through the sharings of their interests, attitudes and way of life. I am deeply grateful to this family for everything and for also taking me out when possible to explore and experience something new. I had a lovely time exploring the neighbouring towns, going to the Saturday market, trying Sicilian food (I will definitely visit Sicily one day), eating gelato with Leti and watching a film outdoors for the first time. Special thanks to Leti and Simone for always translating Italian for me, despite how tiring it could get. The tasks were simple to follow, the family was happy to connect and the room I stayed in was pleasant. I am deeply grateful for all the kindness and patience I've received, along with all the hearty meals and moments we've shared together. Thank you Sabina for this lovely opportunity to work with you, and I hope that your energy stays as bright and sunny always! Thanks to you and your family, I smile when I think of Italy ☘️ and to Leti, see you again 🕺
