Sono un'insegnante di italiano in pensione e ho una casetta a due piani con un orto e un giardino con piante da frutto e ornamentali. Mio figlio Leonardo é biologo marino e ogni tanto torna dal Brasile per aiutarmi. Credo nell'unione di forze e idee per migliorare l'ambiente in cui viviamo. Vorrei che la casetta sia luogo di incontro, di scambio di esperienze e di aiuto reciproco.
Piantare verdure nell'orto, tagliare erba giardino, dare acqua e concime alle piante, potare piante e alberi, pulire il cortile. Posso insegnare quali sono i tempi di semina e come fare in modo che le piante crescano con concimi naturali. Possibilità di apprendere a cucinare tortelli di zucca. ricotta e carne.
Normalmente é alla mattina che si fanno le principali attivitá in campagna. Mi sveglio verso le 7 e poi verso le 11 e mezza mezzogiorno preparo il mangiare. Dopo pranzo faccio sempre una mezz'ora di riposo e poi, evitando le ore piú calde faccio altri lavoretti in campagna o personali. Alle 18:30 -19 h ceno.
Mi piace molto leggere e ascoltare la radio con programmi di riflessione e cultura (radio rai 3). Vicino alla casa si puó andare in bicicletta e seguire il fiume Secchia. Inoltre a Mirandola (7 km di distanza) ci sono le piscine pubbliche. A cavezzo invece c'é la bibblioteca.

I am a retired Italian teacher and have a small two-story house with a vegetable garden and a garden with fruit and ornamental plants. My son Leonardo is a marine biologist and occasionally comes back from Brazil to help me. I believe in joining forces and ideas to improve the environment in which we live. I would like the little house to be a place to meet, exchange experiences and help each other.
We plant vegetables in the garden, cut garden grass, water and fertilize plants, prune plants and trees, clean the yard. I can teach planting times and how to make plants grow with natural fertilizers. Possibility to learn how to cook pumpkin tortelli. ricotta and meat.
Normally it is in the morning that the main activities in the countryside are done. I wake up around 7 and then around 11:30 noon I prepare food. After lunch I always take a half hour rest and then, avoiding the hottest hours I do other country or personal work. At 18:30 -19 h I have dinner.
I like to read a lot and listen to the radio with thoughtful and cultural programs (radio rai 3). Near the house you can ride a bicycle and follow the Secchia River. Also in Mirandola (7 km away) there are public swimming pools. In cavezzo, on the other hand, there is a library.

It was a great experience at Nara´s place. Nara is a friendly person and a perfect host, she cooks very well, she is a pleasant conversation partner and as a former Italian teacher she can also support you improve your language skills.
I helped mainly building a wooden floor in the former stall and I had the great opportunity to learn a lot about the craft of carpentry. I also worked in the flowerbeds, I planted salad and flowers, I cut trees and I painted walls.
We did a lot of excursions for example to the beautiful cities Ferrara and Vignola. I did also some bike trips or I just walked through the very beautiful landscape.
