----------- We are a small family-run farm located on the slopes of Monte Pelpi, in the upper Val di Taro, 4 km from the small town of Bedonia. We grow and process small fruits, wild fruit and medicinal herbs, as well as we produce vegetables mostly for own consumption. We have a small chicken coop and some hives, always for our own production. A dog and two cats live with us. The activities during the summer are: recognition and collection of herbs, flowers and fruit and their transformation (drying, jams, syrups, pickles, fresh tomato sauce). During the spring we transplant the new crops in the garden and in the fields, we prepare the rows and pallets and we collect wild herbs. On a daily basis we take care of the chicken coop and the vegetable garden, and the preparation of the meals (we are excellent cooks! we eat mainly veg but we are omnivores). The collection of herbs and flowers generally takes place from 9:30 a.m. and lasts until midday. In the afternoon, instead, we will dedicate a couple of hours to gardening, chicken coop and vegetable garden work, or to processing by deciding the times together (depending on the heat and commitments). We are on Mount Pelpi, along a path. Excursions in nature just outside the front door, among meadows, streams and woods. Stables in the surrounding area for horse riding, marked trails for cycling, possibility of renting bikes and e-bikes in the village. In summer it is possible to swim in the natural pools of the Taro river, a few km from the house. Stable wi-fi connection. In the village we have a screen printing studio, an artisanal printing technique.

It was a pleasure to stay with Michele and his family. They are very nice and decent people, good hosts and great cooks. They have a rich knowledge about nature and biodiverse systems that they are happy to share if one asks. We have learned a lot from staying at their farm for 14 days and are very happy that we got to know them.

Michele and Elisa are two cool and welcoming people giving us a chance to see how their lives are. 10 great days we worked with Michele, in his greenhouses maintaining them, collecting flowers for tea, and helped 'expand' his strawberry plantation. There are a lot of opportunities to get a glimpse of the surrounding areas, Michele and Elisa are very helpful!

The stay at Micheles and Elisa’s farm was very great. We stayed there for 2 weeks and felt very welcome from the first moment. We had our own private room with a wwoofer bathroom. The farm and the house is so beautiful and we felt very home there. Michele showed us a lot of different things so we could learn about different kind of berries, cultivating and collecting herbs, transplanting, seeding and a lot more. We also helped in the vegetable garden. Michele and Elisa are fantastic cooks so we ate delicious italian food during our stay. We definitely come back to this lovely place! Thank you so much for everything.

Ciao Elisa e Michele, I came pretty spontanious to Officina buoni misteri for a few days and It was a nice surprise. If you come alone (what I did) you can really be part of the welcoming family - and friends you will meet. There are various works to do, but they made sure that I had enough time to relax and to make a coffee break:) Their son is as open minded as they are and as the animals are. In spring the nature around was in a nice state - that is to say no leafs on most of the trees but carpets from flowers like primulas and narcissus. And there is water everywhere, you even here a river from the house. So thank you that I could meet you (and the animals), I hope to see you again. In bocca al lupo per tutto !

For my boyfriend and me was the wwoof-Experience at Officina Buoni Mestieri amazing! Michele and his family welcomed us so warmly and were so kind. They are so openminded and we felt instantly very comfortable at their place. The tasks we had done were so varied, we had a lot of fun and they showed us so many facets from their live and the places around Bedonia. We helped to get the greenhouses ready, did some harvest work, helped on the field and helped with the chicken coop. It was also so heartwarming with their dog and the cats :D My boyfriend and I are very happy about the oportunity to had the wwoofing with Michele and his family. Grazie mille!
