Azienda agricola biologica negli Appennini parmensi
Parma

I live as a repentant Milanese on the organic farm Macinarsi , since 1995. The house is made of stone, the farm is self-sufficient using renewable energy methods, rearing semi-wild beef cattle, donkeys, farmyard animals, dogs ,cats, bees, vegetable garden and orchard with ancient varieties.
The Macinarsi Farm is in the municipality of Borgo Val di Taro (about 7000 inhabitants), 700 mt alt.(PR) near the Taro River and one hour from the sea, nearest house 1km, village 3.5 km (with train station).
I offer experience, concrete skills , traditional and modern, to maintain and live, in a multifunctional mountain farm. There are various tasks, farming and animal husbandry, taking care of the animals, tending the vegetable garden and the orchard; group and also individual work, various DIY projects and minor chores in the forest. Commitment to food self-sufficiency and processing of products. The chores take place on the farm and WWOOFers sleep here on the farm. Looking for methodical people with good manual dexterity in work, (experience a great advantage) and with a kind soul.
Taking part in simple mountain peasant life and sharing various activities. Accommodation in own room with free internet access.
There are good trails, the Taro river, we are one hour from Cinque Terre and Parma, close to the WWF oasis and holistic center.
We look forward to seeing you, Antonio

The location is heavenly, and Antonio & Edoardo are wonderful people. Antonio is a great teacher and let me be very involved with every aspect of his farm. Antonio & Edoardo are both very knowledgeable and willing to help and answer any questions. There was plenty of joy and laughter with all the tasks, and we had many interesting and fun conversations at the patio in the evening. And the food was A+++ fantastic. We forged a strong friendship and comradery, they are lovely lovely people. This experience exceeded my expectations, this place is divine.
