Coltivazione di ortaggi e produzione dell'olio di oliva.
Foggia
Seguiamo i principi dell'agricoltura biologica.

Our farm is a place that came out of our dream and the desire to return to our Apulian roots. I am Marianna Urbano, together with my husband Chef John Davy and my family, we started this fascinating reality seven years ago.
On our farm we grow vegetables to be used in tastings and in the preparation of typical local products, and we have an important olive oil production. We follow the principles of organic farming. We are in organic conversion now for the second year.
We carry out numerous projects with wood (recovering pallets and making lots of things such as tables, benches, clothes racks, walls, doors, animal houses, gabion docks with recovered stones on our land, flower boxes...).
We offer workshops for making pearl necklaces from olive wood.
We are delighted to welcome WWOOFers as family, in a tent, and to involve them in our daily work. There is always plenty to do, such as
- learning how to prune olive groves
- participating in the olive harvest
- tending the garden, weeding, planting, preparing seeds for each season
- processing produce for use in our restaurant
Our days are organised according to the seasons, the weather and the priorities of the moment. We would like the WWOOFers to be able to share about our days with us.
My husband and I are passionate about cooking with our produce and we believe that cooking is a great time of sharing. Running the farm is very demanding but we are happy to tell and share the details. The moments we carry in our hearts the most are the evenings spent together in front of a fire.

What a place ! The Agriturismo Passione Natura is a beautiful place thanks to Marianna, John and Enzo. Not only did they create a very welcoming place thanks to their great work, but they forged a welcoming athmosphere for who wants to discover this part of Italy. The work was hard but always interesting and well explained by either John or Marianna. The olive harvesting was our main task during my three weeks in Vieste but I also had the occasion to work on construction projects where all ideas werlcomed.
And what about food ? John and Marianna provide an exceptional cuisine based on local and fresh products sublimed by their delicious olive oil. I cannot count the number of time I left the table having eaten too much to test all the good things. Pizze, Bolognese, cakes, fresh ravioli, .... the list is long
The work is hard but the environment makes it enjoyable and the context makes it all

Hi everybody,
Marianna and her husband are some of the hardest-working people I have ever met. They work 12 hours a day without a break, and this is truly impressive. They have built their life in Italy entirely on their own.
They are also very skilled at cooking, and you’ll eat very well and enjoy delicious meals while you're there.
Now, about my experience as a wwoofer: I would only recommend this place if you enjoy working a lot and working hard, and if you already have experience in agriculture and construction.
If you don’t, or if you’re unable to keep up with the pace, you won’t enjoy it.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone doing WWOOFing for the first time in their life!
If you’ve never done manual work or don’t feel confident in it, this is probably not the right place for you.
Also, you should be aware that you’ll be sleeping in a tent, so make sure you’re okay with that!
Lastly, I would only recommend going there if you have a strong personality and feel comfortable expressing your needs and desires! If you are shy and have difficulties expressing yourself or are insecure, you really shouldn't go.
So, if you enjoy hard work, know your limits, can communicate them clearly, and have prior experience with WWOOFing, you’ll have a great time with Marianna. You’ll learn a lot, receive thoughtful gifts, and enjoy amazing food.

My experience with Marianna, John, and Enzo went far beyond my expectations. I felt extremely welcomed by this family, as if I were a part of it, and now I feel like I am.
They spared no effort to make me feel good, and I had a lot of fun with them.
The work focused on taking care of the camping site, plants, and restaurant. I loved learning Italian recipes with Marianna; I will never forget the taste and care in all the meals.
Enzo is a sweetheart! Besides teaching me Italian, he was great company.
John is a spectacular chef, and I would say a doctor in agroforestry, hahaha.
I already miss you.
I will definitely come back many times. Thank you, Urbano Davi family! You are always in my heart ♥️
