Casolare di campagna a Jesi (Ancona) con un bell' orto e animali da cortile e da compagnia

Ciao, siamo Valentina Luca e Eva, abitiamo in un casolare immerso nelle campagne marchigiane nella prima periferia di Jesi in provincia di Ancona. Qui vivono anche dei gatti, alcune galline, germani, e conigli. Abbiamo circa 1000 mq di orto e altri circa 2000 mq di giardino, un bambuseto e un boschetto intorno casa. Ci prendiamo cura degli animali e di questo spazio seguendo i principi della permacultura e dell'agricoltura organica e rigenerativa.
Abbiamo anche un oliveto di 350 piante dove si applica la potatura a vaso policonico (a Belvedere Ostrense, a pochi Km da casa). La nostra è una Casa delle Erbe, infatti una delle nostre attività principali è raccogliere, trasformare e essiccare le erbe spontanee ad uso alimentare, curativo e cosmetico; agli ospiti che vorranno, saremo felici di trasmettere le nostre conoscenze per il riconoscimento e l'uso delle piante spontanee e selvatiche. Abbiamo un distillatore con il quale facciamo diversi oli essenziali.
Abbiamo sempre molti lavori da fare in campagna: fare il compost, seminare, trapiantare, raccogliere, preparare il suolo, fare il biochar, potare, tagliare l'erba, pulire e sistemare gli attrezzi, preparare i microrganismi effettivi, pulire il pollaio, pacciamare, preparare la legna, fare talee, irrigare e tutti gli altri lavori inerenti ad una micro-farm.
Una giornata tipo, al di fuori delle nostre principali professioni, potrebbe svolgersi in questo modo: dopo colazione si va ad accudire gli animali e, in base alla stagione, si va avanti con i vari lavori dell'orto e con la gestione della biomassa. Luca è un produttore d'olio e collabora con alcune cantine della zona per la produzione di vino, Valentina insegna biologia, microbiologia, chimica e scienze in un Istituto Superiore della Vallesina. Eva frequenta la scuola primaria. Ora è in arrivo il nostro secondo figlio!!
I nostri ospiti WWOOFer potranno alloggiare in una stanza con letto matrimoniale e/o, nella bella stagione - da Aprile a Ottobre- in tenda. La colazione e la cena si svolgeranno a casa tutti insieme, a pranzo la maggior parte delle volte siamo a casa e Eva è a scuola. Nei nostri pasti sono sempre presenti i prodotti del nostro orto, siamo aperti a tutti i tipi di dieta.
Nel nostro tempo libero amiamo stare all'aria aperta o fare escursioni nelle vicinanze.

Hi, we are Valentina, Luca, and Eva. We live in a cottage nestled in the Marche countryside on the outskirts of Jesi in the province of Ancona. Cats, some chickens, mallards, and rabbits also live here.We have about 1,000 square meters of vegetable garden and another 2,000 square meters of garden and a little bamboo grove. We take care of this space following the principles of permaculture and organic and regenerative agriculture. We also have an olive grove of 350 trees where we apply polyconic pot pruning (in Belvedere Ostrense, a few kilometers from home).
Ours is a House of Herbs; in fact, one of our main activities is to collect, process, and dry wild herbs for food, healing, and cosmetic use. For guests who wish, we will be happy to pass on our knowledge for the recognition and use of wild and spontaneous plants. We have a distiller with which we make different essential oils.
We always have a lot of work to do in the countryside: composting, sowing, transplanting, harvesting, preparing the soil, making biochar, pruning, cutting grass, cleaning and setting up tools, preparing effective micro-organisms, cleaning the chicken coop, mulching, preparing wood, making cuttings, irrigating, and all the other work inherent to a micro-farm.
Luca is an oil producer and collaborates with some local wineries, Valentina teaches biology, microbiology, chemistry, and science at a high school in Vallesina. Eva is in elementary school. Our second child is on the way!
When we are not working our regular jobs a typical day might unfold like this: after breakfast, we go out to tend to the animals and, depending on the season, get on with the various garden chores and biomass management.
Our WWOOFer guests will be able to stay in a room with a double bed and/or, in the warm season (April to October), in a tent. We generally like to have a maximum of 2 guests so we can look after you better. Breakfast and dinner will take place at home all together, while at lunch most of the time we are home and Eva is at school. Our meals always include produce from our garden; we are open to all types of diets.
In our free time, we love to be outdoors or go hiking nearby.

L'aeroporto più vicino è il Raffaello Sanzio di Ancona, a soli 20 minuti da casa. La stazione ferroviaria più vicina è quella di Jesi, a 10 minuti da casa. Raggiungibile a piedi la fermata dell'autobus a cinque minuti da casa.

Con Valentina e Luca sono stata benissimo! Sin da subito sono stati super accoglienti e simpatici. Non avevo mai avuto l'occasione di lavorare nell'orto e da loro ho imparato tanto, apprezzando la loro passione per il mondo che hanno costruito. Grazie dei racconti e del tempo passato assieme!

Il tempo trascorso con Luca, Valentina ed Eva è stato davvero arricchente e prezioso, sarete fortunati se avrete la possibilità di conoscerli!:)
Sono stato accolto e fatto sentire a casa fin dal primo momento. Nell'arco delle due settimane passate con loro, le mansioni sono state stimolanti e svariate, dal dare da mangiare agli animali, all'aiuto ad una cantina locale, alle cene preparate insieme, la raccolta ortaggi e preparazione del terreno, la manutenzione del compost, la raccolta e distillazione del rosmarino... Luca, Valentina ed Eva sono una famiglia splendida, persone incredibilmente preparate ed altruiste, che mi hanno aiutato ed insegnato tanto :) . Grazie infinite per avermi accolto, per tutte le risate insieme, per l'accoglienza della vostra famiglia, della vostra casa, dei vostri amici e dei vostri animali felici :) Un abbraccio e a presto!

My stay at Viriditas was one full of friendship, laughter and an exchange of language, culture and knowledge. Valentina and Luca have a very beautiful house which they welcomed me into for just over 2 weeks. They provided me with a quiet, comfortable room which I felt at home in. Their garden is wonderful and features a summer and winter garden. During my time there I harvested greenbeans with the help of Luca and Valentina, I also helped Valentina harvest some vegetables for some locals who like to buy their organic produce, I helped Luca to harvest the leaves from the Laurel tree to make Laurel oil using Luca's very high tech distillator and I also harvested olives with Luca and helped to bottle his extra virgin olive oil. In the morning I fed the animals of the farm (the chickens, ducks and the wonderful bunnies) and I cleaned and refilled their bowsl and collected eggs. One day Luca and I ploughed the soil in a patch of his parents land and we planted lettuce, fava beans and fennel. I had the amazing opportunity to eat like a real Italian at Luca' parents house where they welcomed me into their family and made me feel very taken care of and I never left feeling hungry thanks to his mother's wonderful cooking. With Valentina I shared many funny converations with and at dinner and lunch we ate delicious food all together. Their daughter Eva is so lovely and we bonded by playing football and drawing together. Thank you for this amazing experience.

This week was full of adventure and great energy, it was my first wwoof experience with my friend and I´m truly grateful for time we could spend in the beautiful home of this lovely family. The work was pleasant and we also learnd a lot of new things and had great time. Every day was a bit different and we visited many beautiful places. Truly unforgettable experience and also food was delicious and healthy. Vale, Luca and Eva were icredible hosts and I would love to come back:). I spent a week here with my friend and this was our first wwoof experience. I have to say we couldn't have been more lucky. I thought that such kind of experience might be fun and nice, but this was way beyond fun and nice!! The family is wonderful, the place is beautiful and all the super tasty food and all the things we got to try, learn and see.. if only we could stay here forever :). Thank you so much Vale, Eva and Luca, we couldn't have hoped for anything better than this :))

Valentina, Luca ed Eva sono persone genuine e fantastiche. Mi hanno fatto sentire subito come uno di famiglia, accogliendomi con calore e facendomi sentire benvenuto sin dal primo momento. Mi hanno ospitato in un ambiente casalingo piacevole e impeccabilmente pulito, dove abbiamo gustato i loro deliziosi prodotti e le erbe spontanee che abbiamo raccolto insieme. Valentina, con grande competenza, mi ha insegnato a riconoscere queste erbe. Luca, altrettanto esperto, mi ha introdotto alla potatura degli olivi. Lavorare intensamente negli oliveti è stato molto piacevole e appagante, soprattutto vedendo i risultati del nostro impegno. Anche la piccola Eva, adorabile e dolcissima, ha contribuito al mio apprendimento condividendo molte storie e aneddoti. Posso dire con entusiasmo di aver trascorso giorni meravigliosi in loro compagnia. Grazie di cuore! :)
