Siamo Giovanni e Eleonora, abbiamo due figlie di 11 e 12 anni.
Viviamo dentro un uliveto biologico, siamo attualmente impiegati. Io in smart working ed Eleonora insegna. Gestiamo l'azienda agricola che da più di 100 anni è della mia famiglia. Produciamo olive da tavola, olio e agrumi.
Ospiterò gli amici wwofers in una stanza da letto con bagno.
L'impegno lavorativo giornaliero è di circa 4/5 ore giorno. Ma siamo flessibili nell' organizzazione degli orari che concorderemo ogni giorno in base alle esigenze e al tempo.
Può succedere di lavorare da soli mentre io coltivo il terreno col trattore e i wwofers si occupano di lavori più semplici.
Ad ottobre posso ospitare anche 4 settimane perché siamo in piena raccolta olive, facendo diverse attività (cucinare, raccogliere, separare olive verdi da nere, stare sul campo per controllare i lavoro degli operai, andare all'oleificio, conservare l'olio,etc, etc)
Attività da svolgere:
Gennaio Febbraio : concimazione , taglio legna, raccolta agrumi;
Marzo Aprile: potatura arance e mandarini, manifattura marmellate e saponi se olio è disponibile. sistemazione muri a secco;
Maggio Giugno : lavori di parafuoco , pulizia erbe infestanti ;
Giugno : zappatura polloni delle olive;
Luglio Agosto Settembre : irrigazione, attività di ricezione turistica, taglio legna , piccoli lavori di muratura e manutenzione ;
Ottobre : raccolta olive;
Novembre Dicembre : potatura olive e concimazione.
I programmi sono variabili in base alle condizioni meteo
La mia casa non ha il wi-fi, ma per connettervi alla rete potete usare il vostro smart phone.

We are Giovanni and Eleonora, and we have two daughters, ages 11 and 12.
We live in an organic olive grove and are currently employed. I work remotely, and Eleonora teaches. We manage the farm that has been in my family for over 100 years. We produce table olives, oil, and citrus fruits.
I will host fellow wwofers in a bedroom with a bathroom.
The daily work commitment is approximately 4-5 hours a day. But we are flexible in scheduling our work schedules, which we will agree on each day based on needs and weather.
You might work alone while I till the land with the tractor and the wwofers take care of simpler tasks.
In October, I can host up to four weeks because we're in the middle of the olive harvest, doing various activities (cooking, harvesting, separating green olives from black ones, being in the field to supervise the workers' work, going to the oil mill, storing the oil, etc.).
Activities to do:
January-February : Fertilization, wood cutting, citrus harvesting;
March-April : Orange and mandarin pruning, jam and soap making if oil is available, dry stone wall repair;
May-June : Firebreak work, weed clearing;
June : Olive shoot removal;
July - August-September : Irrigation, tourist accommodation, wood cutting, minor masonry and maintenance work;
October : Olive harvesting;
November- December : Olive cutting and fertilization.
Schedules vary depending on weather conditions.
My house doesn't have Wi-Fi, but you can use your smartphone to connect.
