A'NACA is a ECOproject immersed in the Agrò Valley (Sicily - Limina, ME). We want to promote a sustainable life style and be connected as much as possible with nature.
We are inspired by Permculture and do our best to be self sufficient or at least to be the most respectful as possible with the environment.
We started our project in 2021, and we are daily learning by doing!
In 2025 we renovated the rural house that is on the land and our son ELio was born!
Things changed a lot in the past year!
Now we are working to open an Agri Camping in summer!
A'NACA's team is composed by Mattias, Alice and Elio, but often Alice's parents come to help too!
We are a couple and our dream is to develop an Agri-Camping and live in our land.
Mattias is a professional chef (his food is delicious!), but he also likes a lot working with wood and doing tiring tasks! Alice studied psychology but after travelling some years she got very interested in ecovillages and sustainable communities. She has eyes on everything on the land, but her biggest passion is for the plants and flowers :)
Often there are friends and familiy members at our place and visitors can appear suddenly. This makes the days very felxible and funny too.
At A'NACA also live many cats and our dogs Miro and Lulù!

Our days and activities are very random and depends on seasons, events, visitors and many other things. This means that we expect FLEXIBILITY and ADAPTATION :)
Works and tasks may depend a lot on the season.
In general we need help in gardening and taking care of plants, watering trees, picking fruits and transforming them in good jams, collecting hay, feeding the cats, ...
Now, with the little Elio around, we may need help also with him! :)
Some building and painting projects may arise using recycled materials.
Work time is not fixed and can really depend on the weather, personal availabilities, wishes, needs and actual projects going on.
We have 4 glamping tent very nice and confortable, with real beds and all necessary for sleeping.
We eat mostly VEGETARIAN and we share the task of cooking for everybody and cleaning dishes. We have a compost toilet and outside showers.
During time off it is possible to go to the small waterfall close by (Cascate dell'Aranciara), to the sea (15 minutes by car) or nearest villages (S. Teresa di Riva, Savoca, Taormina, etc) or for different hikes in the Peloritani mountains.

A'NACA è un progetto di vita in Natura. Siamo immersi nella Valle d'Agrò (Sicilia - Limina, ME). Vogliamo promuovere uno stile di vita sostenibile ed essere il più possibile connessi con la natura.
Ci ispiriamo alla Permcultura e facciamo del nostro meglio per essere autosufficienti o almeno per essere il più rispettosi possibile con l'ambiente.
Abbiamo avviato il nostro progetto nel 2021 e impariamo ogni giorno cose nuove sperimentando qua e là!
Nel 2025 abbiamo ristrutturato il palmento che si trova sul terreno ed è nato nostro figlio Elio!
Le cose sono cambiate molto nell'ultimo anno!
Ora stiamo lavorando per aprire un Agricampeggio in estate!
Il team di A'NACA è composto da Mattias, Alice ed Elio, ma spesso vengono anche i genitori di Alice ad aiutarci!
Siamo una coppia e il nostro sogno è quello di aprire un Agricampeggio e vivere qui in campagna delle attività che portiamo avanti qui.
Mattias è uno chef professionista (la sua cucina è deliziosa!), ma gli piace anche molto lavorare il legno e svolgere lavori faticosi! Alice ha studiato psicologia, ma dopo aver viaggiato per alcuni anni si è appassionata agli ecovillaggi e alle comunità sostenibili. Ha occhi un pò su tutto, ma la sua passione più grande sono le piante e i fiori :)
Ad A'NACA vivono anche molti gatti e i nostri cani Miro e Lulù!
Spesso ci sono amici e familiari e i visitatori possono arrivare all'improvviso. Questo rende le giornate molto flessibili (e divertenti!). Per questo le nostre giornate e attività sono poco organizzate e dipendono dalle stagioni, dagli eventi, dai visitatori e da molti altri fattori. Questo significa che ci aspettiamo FLESSIBILITÀ e ADATTAMENTO :)
Lavori e compiti possono dipendere molto dalla stagione. In generale abbiamo bisogno di aiuto nel giardinaggio e nella cura delle piante, nell'innaffiare gli alberi, nel raccogliere la frutta e trasformarla in buone marmellate, nel raccogliere il fieno, nel dare da mangiare ai gatti e ai cani,...
Ora, con il piccolo Elio in giro, potremmo aver bisogno di aiuto anche con lui! :)
Potrebbero sorgere alcuni progetti di costruzione e pittura utilizzando materiali di riciclo.
Gli orari di lavoro non sono fissi e dipendono dalle stagionimeteo, dalle disponibilità personali, dai desideri, dalle esigenze e dai progetti effettivamente in corso.
Abbiamo 4 tende glamping grandi e confortevoli, con veri letti e tutto il necessario per dormire.
Mangiamo principalmente VEGETARIANO e condividiamo il compito di cucinare per tutti e lavare i piatti. Abbiamo una compost toilette e docce con acqua calda.
Nel tempo libero è possibile raggiungere la piccola cascata vicina (Cascate dell'Aranciara), il mare (15 minuti di auto) o i paesi più vicini (Santa Teresa di Riva, Savoca, Taormina, ecc.) o fare diverse escursioni sui monti Peloritani.

Very grateful for the opportunity had a great time. The land is beautiful and the meals were always well over expectations. Would definitely recommend.

A´naca is a special place that we can 100% recommend. We have spent there beatiful two weeks in august and if we could we would have spent there another two! We learned a lot of things and also met lot of like minded people in such a short period of time. Alice and Mattias were super nice and took care of us in best possible way. They also showed us several beautiful places around so we discovered another wonderful part of Sicily. During our stay we did various jobs on the land and we learned a lot about growing different plants in this part of Sicily. Living in closer connection to nature in such a peaceful place with other like minded people for even this shorter period of time was also such a great experience. Enjoying delicious vegetarian meals cooked by Mattias from their own vegetables and herbs is also something we won´t forget. Special mention for their lovely dog Miro, who entertained us for the whole time:)
Hopefully we will return very soon and we can definetely strongly recommend A´naca if you want to meet great people, learn more about sustainability and permaculture and also about Sicily.
