ciao, mi chiamo daniele ho una realtà a 600 metri sopra il lago di garda, dove mi piace coltivare il cibo che mangio,supporto le api, e sto nei boschi a tagliare legna . vivo con un gatto Bine, ho dei progetti di costruire un posto per le galline e vorrei avere anche delle capre. normalmente lavoro come giardiniere e nel fine settimana in relax mi dedico alla mia passione; aria aperta, lavorare il legno. ho la possibilità di alloggio nella sede dell'azienda in paese, oppure nel "paesel" (proprietà recintata in sicurezza) in una casetta di legno con acqua potabile senza elettricità ma con un generatore di corrente all'occorenza, a stretto contatto con la natura e la sua vita notturna. le escursioni qui intorno sono tutte in mezzo ai boschi tra muretti a secco, sentieri e trincee militari con vista lago mozzafiato. ma più in su percorri il monte Baldo e più sono spettacolari.,. Hi, my name is Daniele. I have a farm 600 meters above Lake Garda, where I enjoy growing my own food, supporting bees, and spending time in the woods chopping wood. I live with a cat, Bine. I'm planning on building a chicken pen, and I'd also like to have some goats. I normally work as a gardener and on the weekends I relax and dedicate myself to my passion: the outdoors, woodworking. I have the option of accommodation at the farm headquarters in the village, or in the "paesel" (a securely fenced property) in a wooden house with drinking water, no electricity but with a generator if needed, in close contact with nature and its nightlife. The hikes around here are all through the woods, among dry stone walls, trails, and military trenches with breathtaking lake views. But the higher you go up Mount Baldo, the more spectacular they become.

Esperienza di volontariato splendida sul Lago di Garda: una realtà agricola a 700 metri d’altitudine, in un posto magnifico con una vista lago che ti rimane addosso. Con Andrea è stata un’esperienza davvero immersiva: ti catapulta in uno stile di vita sano, genuino e autentico, fatto di comunicazione, voglia di creare e tanta umanità. Si lavora bene, si respira serenità, e ogni giornata ha quel senso pieno che cerchi quando vuoi staccare davvero. Cibo ottimo, compagnia super, e in più insegnamenti preziosi su piante e apicoltura che rendono tutto ancora più ricco. La casa vicino ai campi è magnifica: sembra di entrare in un romanzo di montagna, tra silenzi buoni e natura intorno. Me ne sono andato con gratitudine… e con la voglia sincera di incontrare di nuovo Andrea.

This is my first time travel alone abroad, I’m nervous at first, but Daniel really make me feel at home. Although English is not our mother language, we communicate smoothly and chatted wide. I tried things I had never done before and found it much fun, enjoying pasta and spaghetti and many typical Italian food made by Daniel himself. It’s such a satisfaction to see we successfully build the window with wood . It’s like a dream sitting outside a wooden house, watching sunrise, sunset, and the golden snowy peak of the mountain, while having a cup of wine or coffee. Daniel is absolutely keeping a natural and peaceful pace, and I will think of these days always when I back to my country. Grazie e arrivederci.

Vielen Dank Daniele für diese wunderbare Zeit! Es war wirklich eine außergewöhlich schöne, entspannte, nährreiche und verbundene Woche. Angefangen bei dem fantastischen Essen (lokal, regional, jeden Tag frisch gekocht) und dem wunderbaren Wohnhaus von Daniele (etwas höher gelegen, mit Blick auf den See und die Burg) über die zuvorkommende Freundlichkeit und sehr resepektvollem Umgang miteinander sowie dem traumhaften Garten in den Bergen. Daniele hat es verstanden mich sowohl an seinen Gedanken und Wissen teilhaben zu lassen als auch mir Raum für meinen Kontakt mit der Umgebung zu geben. So hatte ich das große Glück einen Teil meiner Zeit auch im Holzhaus im Garten (mit Ofen, ohne Strom) verbringen zu dürfen - ein Erlebnis, dass ich ob seiner Schönheit nie vergessen werde. Ich kann es nur empfehlen Daniele und seinen wunderbaren Ort zu besuchen und dich inspirieren zu lassen :)

Es waren wunderschöne 2 Wochen. Daniele hat interressante Ideen um seinen Garten schöner oder sinnvoller zu gestalten. Einige dieser Ideen konnten wir auch realisieren. Es waren aber auch 2 Wochen die für mich kulturell und menschlich sehr gut waren. Vielen Dank für für diese Wochen.

I had my first Wwoofing experience with Daniele and it was incredible. I loved learning about nature-friendly farming and beekeeping alongside him on his beautiful Praesel farm. Daniele is a great teacher who explains things with a lot of passion and pedagogy, but also a great host, who showed me around the beautiful areas around his home and with whom I shared delicious meals made mainly from vegetables we harvested on his land. A huge thank you for everything, Daniele!
