Ciao, mi chiamo Giulia, ho 40 anni e ho scelto di trasferirmi a vivere sui Monti Sibillini, precisamente a Montefortino per inseguire un sogno. Vivo con mio marito Alessandro, i nostri 2 bambini, 4 cani, 2 gatti, 3 galline e 1 papero, 20 pecore, 4 caprette mohair e cachemire, un asinello e 2 tartarughe!
Oltre alla cura quotidiana degli animali, preparazione del pascolo la mattina e dell'ovile la sera, proponiamo molti eventi nella nostra fattoria, per adulti e bambini, come esperienze di filatura a mano, tosatura, tintura naturale, stampa botanica, intreccio vimini... Un aiutante imparerebbe aiutandoci! Inoltre tingiamo e filiamo giornalmente e ogni fase ha i suoi tempi e le sue modalità da imparare.
Viviamo in una casa molto piccola ma accogliente! Per i wwoofers abbiamo una roulotte (vedi foto) con un letto da una pizza e mezza e possibilità di aggiungere un secondo letto. Per i pasti, colazione spuntini pranzo merenda e cena non c'è problema, io sono vegetariana e marito onnivoro, pertanto ogni giorno ce n'è per tutti i gusti! Il nostro primo woofer è celiaco 😅❤️
Sui Monti Sibillini c'è la possibilità di fare escursioni, trekking e e-bike, nelle vicinanze il lago di Gerosa con pineta e area attrezzata per relax. Io amo lavorare a maglia, ovunque sempre... I borghi del territorio sono tutti affascinanti e con piccole attività caratteristiche.

Hi, my name is Giulia, I am 40 years old and I chose to move to the Sibillini Mountains, specifically to Montefortino, to pursue a dream. I live with my husband Alessandro, our two children, four dogs, two cats, three chickens, one duck, 20 sheep, four mohair and cashmere goats, a donkey, and two turtles!
In addition to the daily care of the animals, preparing the pasture in the morning and the sheepfold in the evening, we offer many events on our farm for adults and children, such as hand spinning, shearing, natural dyeing, botanical printing, and wicker weaving. A helper would learn by helping us! We also dye and spin daily, and each stage has its own timing and methods to learn.
We live in a very small but cozy house! For wwoofers, we have a caravan (see photo) with a queen-size bed and the possibility of adding a second bed. For meals, breakfast, snacks, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner, there is no problem. I am vegetarian and my husband is omnivorous, so every day there is something for everyone! Our first woofer is celiac 😅❤️
In the Sibillini Mountains, there is the possibility of hiking, trekking, and e-biking. Nearby is Lake Gerosa with a pine forest and an area equipped for relaxation. I love to knit, everywhere, always... The villages in the area are all charming and have small, characteristic businesses.
