We are a couple who, by choice, follow the path towards food self-sufficiency, we have a small farm where we grow vegetables and cereals without the use of chemicals. The farm is followed by Stefano, while Roberta takes care of the kitchen, making preserves and teas. We also hold several courses in collaboration with other associations, all in order to learn how to self-produce food naturally, as well as courses to learn how to recognize and cook wild herbs. We produce fervida, kefir and kombucha and we are happy to share our knowledge.
Our farm is located in Salgareda in the province of Treviso, one km from the river Piave, rich in nature trails and cycle paths that reach the sea. We are 35 km from Jesolo beach, one hour from Venice and the nearest art cities are Treviso (19 km) and Oderzo (9 km). The area is served by public transport and we can also provide bicycles.
We need help from spring to autumn for sowing, transplanting and harvesting both vegetables and medicinal herbs. And, for those interested, help in the preparation of jams and vegetable sauces.
Our knowledge of languages is scholastic but we welcome people of any nationality.
We offer an apartment consisting of a kitchen, a bathroom, a 2 bed bedroom and another three-bed room. Animals are welcome. We are omnivorous but with an eye for vegetarian cuisine.
