This is a family run farm that produces grains, fruits and vegetables organically and covers an area of approximately 18 hectares in the municipality of Ro Ferrarese, in the area which is washed by the river Po. We decided to get involved, seeking sustainable solutions, and recovering the wisdom of processes and dynamics that govern the agricultural cycles and the awareness of the complexity of the relationships that bind all the elements together.
Over the years we made the decision to rely solely on natural farming methods and landscape management (use of natural fertilizers, biological control with insects, green manure, crop rotation), stopping with all our reliance on chemicals.
It is a choice that comes from a daily reflection on the social value of agriculture, the role of the territory and the preservation of the landscape and the link with the nutritional value and food cultural.
It is the SOCIAL aspect today that is one of the points that most fascinates us and that's why especially in summer when there is the most work we started a “community table" where everyone can share their culinary skills and ideas with others. Sociability is the basis of our small organic farm where there is no solitary work working with machines, but direct interaction between people who have a shared goal for every day or for life.
