We grow more than 500 olive trees on terraces overlooking Lake Garda; in February we start with the pruning and then follow them through to the olive harvest in late October. We grow vines and make wine and September harvest our grapes producing quality wines. We grow potatoes and vegetables and have a chestnut wood. Every year we have to restore drystone walls. Our goal is to make farming methods as sustainable and natural as possible: we no longer using copper sulphate and are experimenting with an alternative use of sage and other plants such as horsetail, which we gather ourselves and dry. We would love to share our knowledge and our practices, which are inspired by the teachings of Steiner and biodynamics. Our food is based on the farm produce, supplemented by foods such as pasta and especially organic whole grains, legumes, cheese, eggs, fish and little meat. We can accommodate also for short periods or for weekends. Accommodation is in a mini apartment which is located in Tenno (1.5 km from our offices), a kitchen with a sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with plates and cutlery but you have to bring sheets and towels. There is no washing machine. On weekdays we have lunch together together while on holidays we share dinner. On weekends we can host also families with up to two children. We have two children ourselves: Margherita (9) and Mattia (7). The nearest train station is in Rovereto; from there you can catch a bus to Riva del Garda and then Tenno. If there are no buses we can collect you from Riva del Garda.
Small mountain farm which uses organic and synergetic farming methods set in a small village at 1000 m altitude. The work varies with the seasons: in spring, preparation of gardens and distillation of the essential oils of pine and spruce. In summer: garden, firewood, collecting wild herbs, distillation of various essential oils. In autumn: vegetables, firewood, collecting wild herbs, processing of various preparations with herbs. Personally I eat vegetarian food with preference for vegan. If some people have special diets they are welcome to prepare meals for them selves provided that there is no meat or fish. The house is almost entirely made of wood, and consists of a kitchen, living room, bathroom, two bedrooms (one is mine), outside there is a large balcony overlooking the valley and the peaks of the Lagorai mountain range and Lake Stramentizzo. I can host people with children, but not dogs as we have a dog and Vento, a cat, who both live in the house. I provide sheets and towels. To understand the philosophy and lifestyle choices of the environment, I invite you to go visit our website. Languages spoken: Italian, Spanish and a little German.

We are a couple with great experience and our children are now grown up and have gone their own way. But we still want to pass on knowledge (and flavours) with simplicity. Gianna is an expert in wild herbs and a great cook. We run a small B & B at the foot of the Dolomites, we have a vegetable garden for our own use, goats, sheep, hens and rabbits. We need a hand with jobs typical of the mountain farm (make hay, take care of the vegetable garden and the animals). The wwoofers have a room with a bathroom in the house with us. There is also a large lawn where you can pitch a tent. We are old-fashioned: we do not have email. Contact us by phone.

We are a family of 5 (mother, father and 3 children) and we live in a farm in Valle dei Mocheni, 1000 meters above sea level. The farm is about 1 1/2 ha divided between pasture, hay meadows and organic vegetables. We have 3 donkeys & 4 sheep, chickens, rabbits, 3 dogs and 3 cats. We have a small restaurant. The main activities are the care of our vegetable garden, selling produce from home or at markets, making preserves for our own use, caring for the animals, and only if you are interested, helping in the kitchen. We use very few machines. Depending on the season we also cut the grass, recuperate abandoned pastures and prepare firewood. We are in continual evolution so you will always find new things here. The farm is fairly isolated, about a km from the village of Mala so getting around without a car can take some organization! Whoever wishes to come here must understand that mountain life is hard work and tiring but in exchange is very satisfying. Initiative is welcome! WWOOFers are always treated as part of the family and there is a lively atmosphere with having children around but sometimes not so much privacy...Accommodation in a single room with a shared bathroom. Please bring sheets or sleeping bags and towels. We are vegetarian, but cannot cater for vegans. We speak good English and German and ask you to contact us via e mail and enjoy receiving detailed e mails, we are curious to know about you too!
On this farm we have grown vegetables, fruit, ornamental plants and olive trees organically since 2001. We work closely with the Buddhist meditation center Kushi Ling which is located in the same place, and provide food for the many retreats and students who attend the centre. We also care for the ornamental garden around the centre. The property is located at an altitude of 350 meters in the town of Arco (TN), 8 km from Lake Garda in a quiet and charming place. They are 15 minutes by car and 45 minutes by foot from Arco. Help is needed in the vegetable garden, the orchard and the ornamental part around the main house and the sacred monuments. We prefer long-term helpers, from a minimum of 3 weeks to a period of 9 months. It can be especially interesting for those who would like to learn about organic agriculture through practical work in the country, and is also interested in Buddhist practice or to spend a period of inner reflection combined agricultural activities. The spoken languages are: Italian, English, German, Dutch and some French. The WWOOF volunteer can eat with the community that manages the centre. The food is vegetarian. In cold periods of the year we offer a room, that is possibly shared with another volunteer. During hot weather people will be accommodated in a tent. If you are interested you can participate in the meetings organized by the meditation centre.

We are a couple of 38 and 39 years old and together with our 3 children (4-7-9 years) we grow organic medicinal plants in Vigo, a beautiful village of the Val di Fassa at 1400 m above sea level, in the Dolomites of Trentino. From June to the end of September-October we are engaged in the harvesting of plants and flowers that takes place daily and almost completely by hand, in addition to cleaning the fields themselves. We have more fields scattered around and every day we go through them. The plants are then taken to the drying room and then checked for subsequent storage. If you want to explore the world of medicinal plants, this is the right place! We also have a small vegetable garden and some laying hens for eggs for our own consumption. We have some fields where we cultivate cereals, barley, frumento, buckwheat, to produce the flour we need. Depending on the season, in addition to these activities, there is fencing the fields and the preparation of firewood. Accommodation is in very well maintained caravan, with working toilet and full bathroom outside. We can host up to 2 people at a time for a minimum of 2 weeks. Please bring a sleeping bag. Our cuisine is traditional and the vegetables, which are almost all self-produced, are never lacking. We speak English and German. Our village is well connected to the railway stations of Trento and Bolzano (the nearest one) by bus. We have two bikes available for wwoofers. We are awaiting you, you will be very welcome!
