Our time at Il Trullo del Re with Francesco was great. His project is very interesting and we were inspired by his motivation and passion. We enjoyed all of the tasks we helped with, from harvesting herbs, weeding the aromatic labyrinth, planting seedlings and trees, cooking, etc. The property is beautiful and we were lucky to have worked alongside the wonderful Giuseppe and meet some of Francesco’s friends’ projects as well, picking cherries together and finding out more about life in rural Puglia. We’d love to come back someday and wish him all the best in his endeavors! ❤️

I joined Maria and Rachel for one week. I had a realy good time with a lot of interesting work and shared time. They often offered different jobs so i could choose between sevreal things that had to be done. Of course it was about gardening but also constructing and repairing things. I enjoyed the simple life, the silence arround the house, good conversations and Rachels great meals after long working days. Would definetly join them again.

I stayed with Paolo and Lidia for two and a half weeks, and the experience was wonderful! From the very first moment, they made me feel comfortable and truly part of the place. The work was very diverse. In the mornings, we worked in the vineyard, pruning the vines, and after the lunch break, we worked in the garden, harvesting various fruits and vegetables, watering, clearing the soil, and taking care of the crops. They also took me to two wonderful wine festivals in the area, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The shared meals together were moments I will never forget. I really appreciate everyone and am very grateful for their kindness, hospitality, and everything I learned during my stay.

Grazie!

My stay with Isabelle was a wonderful WWOOF experience and exactly the kind of cultural and educational exchange that makes WWOOF so special. Isabelle is an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate host who has dedicated herself to working with nature rather than against it. I learned a great deal about traditional planting methods, local plants, biodiversity, and sustainable land management during my stay. She is always happy to share her knowledge and explain the reasoning behind her approach, making every day a learning opportunity. I was welcomed into her home with kindness and generosity and enjoyed delicious meals made with care. Conversations with Isabelle were fascinating, and I gained valuable insights not only into gardening and plants but also into a way of life that is deeply connected to the natural environment. The property itself is beautiful, but prospective WWOOFers should be aware that the work can be physically demanding. The terrain is steep and uneven in places, so good mobility, strength, and balance are important. The work is rewarding, but it is best suited to people who enjoy outdoor physical activity and are comfortable working in a natural environment. I have great respect for the dedication and hard work Isabelle puts into maintaining and protecting this special place. I am grateful for everything I learned and for the opportunity to experience a more traditional and sustainable way of living. Thank you, Isabelle, for sharing your knowledge, hom

My time with Franz and Diana was short but warm and welcoming. I appreciate how I was included in their family experiences; going to the festival and dinner at a friends (delicious homemade pizza by Franz!). If you’re good at pingpong you must beat Franz for me, I stood no chance! This was a genuine family experience where you are free to be yourself and where I’m sure you’ll get lots of opportunities to explore the beautiful area. Thank you Franz and Diana, it was wondering staying with you! Lots of love Lydia

Grazie Elio!!! Had lovely stay in your beautiful home. Work schedule was flexible and Elio was very accommodating. The most beautiful swimming cove and beach cafe only a 3 minute walk. The work was diverse and varied, including animals, vegetable garden and maintenance. The sleeping quarters were a bit run down with sink faucet falling out and many bugs. Once we used the fan provided, mosquitos went away which was a game changer for sleeping! I wish that Elio tried to share more of his language and culture with us but he is a very interesting person. Grazie Elio!!!

I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and creative, and even though I stayed only for a week, I felt very comfortable and well looked after. Sara was always happy to share her knowledge and teach new things. Every day was a bit different, and I learned a lot, including some cooking skills. It was a unique and rewarding experience, and I’m very grateful for the time I spent there. Thank you! :)

My experience here was 10/10. From the moment I met Valeria she was warm, welcoming and helpful. The farm was wonderful, and although the citrus and avocado picking had finished, instead we weeded in the large herb garden where the herbs are used in the distilling process to make essential oils. We watched this is progress with sage. Valeria is multi talented: not only is she a superb host and farmer, but she shares her passion with other local organic farmers in establishing a consortium of bio farmers. She’s an inspiration! And that’s not all: she’s a swing dance teacher and a superb soprano singer. What more can I say! I was so sad to leave this amazing place. Thank you for the experiences.

I was warmly welcomed by Cosimo and Giada and their two lovely children, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend woofing at their farm. A very generous and considerate couple I felt completely relaxed staying at their place. The weather was challenging the week I was there but there was a variety of tasks to do and I could go at my own pace. Being present to help at Giada’s birthday party was a beautiful experience. My first time woofing in the stunning Tuscan location and what a privilege.
