I can't find the words to describe my three-month stay and the incredible warmth of the people at Netum. Here, I found a second family and would love to praise every single person and dog I got to know during my stay, but that's impossible. So I'll keep it short and say: Grazie infinite. Netum is a sacred place. The people and dogs here are angels. Valeria, her family and friends, the Wwoofers I saw come and go, will always be in my heart. ❤️ This is the place where you become part of the ecosystem of love and pure joy grows within you along with the orange trees. And once you've been here, embraced by the sun and wind of Sicily, you are part of Netum. Forever. 🐾 Amunì to change your life for the better 🐾 ;)

I had a great time with Vittorio and Anna. They were very generous to me with delicious meals and Anna teaching me how to play backgammon. The work was easy and I enjoyed it a lot. I helped with tying up their vines, cutting fire wood, and also spent some time helping in the garden and with some small projects around the house. They really care about wwoofers and will do anything for them! I felt very cared for and would recommend a stay here to anyone. It was very kind of them to take and pick me up from the train station on the weekend so I could explore city’s nearby (Venice, Verona).

We had the best experience we could have doing our first WWOOF with Lucia and Andrea. They are incredible people that made us feel as if we were at home sharing good company, (VERY) good food and amazing wine! The accommodation provided was also excellent and cozy. We stayed in a separate house from Lucia’s, equipped with everything we and the other wwoofers needed. In the period we visited, the work consisted in pruning and tying the branches of the grapevines, a surprisingly relaxing activity that made us feel part of the wine-making process. We usually began work at 8:00 and finished around midday. It was all done with the guidance of Francesco and Igor, two Italians that work on the Farm. Francesco was very friendly and Igor, while a bit more shy, was also receptive. They are truly knowledgeable people and chatting with them made time pass fast (since they don't speak English, it was also a good opportunity to practice Italian). Lucia also showed us the rooms where they actually produce wine, which was super cool because we hadn’t had any contact with it before. We also met incredible people (Lina and Amelia <3) that were wwoofing there at the time. We can say that both Lucia and Andrea have a very kind soul that attracts similar minded people. With all being said, we consider ourselves very lucky to have had this opportunity. It was truly great to get to know so many incredible people and experience a bit of life on a generational vineyard. We hope to go back soon!

Abbiamo passato un momento incredibile. Dall' inizio ci hanno accolto come fossimo dalla loro famiglia ! Anche se siamo venuti un mese in inverno, abbiamo imparato molte cose sia sulla permacultura che umanamente. Il giardino è magnifico, con le serre, l'orto e tutte le cose che ha creato Guido, un piccolo paradiso! Non ne diciamo di più per lasciarvi anche scoprire il resto. Per concludere, tutti quelli che vogliono vivere un'esperienza umana con una bella famiglia imparando la permacultura : go go go !

Che bella esperienza con Nonnanita! Siamo una famiglia con due bambini siamo stato solo una settimana, era molto spontaneo. Ma era perfetto per noi, abbiamo fatte diverse lavore con i bambini. A noi piaceva molto di guardare le galline ogni mattina e sera. Anita ci ha cucinato cibi deliziosi e lei ha mostrato a noi una spiaggia bellissima. Anita è molto amichevole, forte e piena di vita. Siamo così felici di averti incontrato. Consigliamo vivamente un soggiorno da Anita a tutti i WWOOFer. Grazie di tutto!
