L’azienda si trova in collina, in un posto tranquillo, con una bella vista del mare e della Valdicecina, è circondata da bosco ceduo e macchia mediterranea. Nella nostra azienda biologica a conduzione familiare di 30 ha, certificata da ICEA, coltiviamo prevalentemente olivi. Abbiamo anche un piccolo allevamento di capre, maiali, asini e avicoli e produciamo un po' di frutta ed ortaggi. Offriamo ospitalità ad un massimo di 4-6 WWOOFers per almeno una settimana che alloggiamo in piccoli appartamenti autonomi ed indipendenti dotati di servizi e cucina, utilizzati in estate per ospitare i nostri clienti in Agriturismo. A disposizione degli ospiti vi sono delle biciclette per piccoli spostamenti. Il mare è a 10 km, Cecina a 7, Riparbella a 4. Da noi i pasti sono vegetariani e non, con prodotti prevalentemente bio. Cerchiamo WWOOFers per aiutarci soprattutto nella raccolta delle olive tra ottobre e novembre e per la raccolta e lavorazione di frutta e verdure in primavera. Parliamo inglese ed un po' francese.

This farm is situated in the hills in a very tranquil spot with views of the sea and the Val di Cecina and surrounded by woodland and Mediterranean marquis. On our 30 ha family run farm (certified ICEA) we mainly cultivate olives but also have some goats, pigs, donkeys and chickens, some fruit trees and a vegetable garden. We can accommodate 4-6 WWOOFers for periods of at least one week in a small self contained apartment which in summer we rent out to tourists. We also have bicycles which we can loan for short excursions, the sea is 10 km, Cecina 7 and Riparbella 4. Meals can be vegetarian and made mainly using organic produce. Help needed most during the olive harvest (October-November) and for the harvesting and conserving of fruit and vegetables in the spring. English and a little French spoken.

Le Serre was our first experience wwoofing (my daughter and I together, I'm in my 50's, she's in her 20's). It was such a positive experience that I'm sure it will be the bar by which all future wwoofing experiences are measured. Enrico, Diego and Luisanna have great integrity, are delightfully warm people happy to share their knowledge of farming and Italy. The work was well organized, with clear instructions and reasonable expectations. Put simply, we had an entirely positive experience and would be eager to return if the opportunity ever presents itself.

I had a beautiful experience at Le Serre; Enrico, Luisiana and Diego are super welcoming, kind and funny. Lunch and dinner were delicious and it was lovely to share these meals together and get to know the whole family. I woofed for two weeks at the end of October to help with the olive harvest, we also picked fruits for jam making. We had plenty of time to ourselves too to relax and explore nearby places. Thank you so much for all your generosity and kindness, you are a wonderful family.

For my first time woofing this was an incredible experience and gave me memories I will treasure for the rest of my life. J’ai passé un merveilleux moment lors de ce séjour ! C’était ma première expérience en WWOOFing, et j’ai vraiment eu beaucoup de chance de la vivre ici. La famille est très chaleureuse, toujours à l’écoute et très attentionnée. Tout se fait dans le respect, la bienveillance et une communication naturelle et fluide. I had the most special time at Le Serre, such a great first Wwoof experience!
Enrico, Diego and Lu are the most generous and welcoming hosts, and always make the work feel fun and full of laughter. The food is absolutely amazing, and it’s great to be able to all sit down and share a meal together.
I had a great time with the other woofers and was so glad to have spent the time to meet some amazing people. Sitting after a day of work and watching the sunset over the sea will never get old!

I had a great time at le serre!
Lots of laughter, silly jokes, sunshine, good food, the most welcoming hosts and lovely fellow woofers. The work was fun too! "Niiiice" as Enrico would say. Or to quote his wife Lu "normale".
I was also able to visit the mill that produces the oil and Enrico patiently explained all the steps of the production.
We had a simple but very pleasant accommodation and from our shared sea view terrace we enjoyed amazing sun sets every evening.
It was my first wwoofing experience and I loved it!
