Azienda agricola
Verona
Parliamo inglese e francese a livello scolastico.
******************************
We are a couple (1959 and 1954) with a daughter (1992) each with their own profession (psychomotricist, retired journalist and university student, now with her own accommodation in another city), we have a small organic farm, Icea certified. For this reason we also alternate our work with moments to dedicate to the farm, which has a total area of 2 hectares and is located in the middle of Val d'Illasi, 20 km from the center of Verona, cultivated with vineyards, olive groves and vegetable garden. We are also new to organic farming and we like to grow by sharing our knowledge with others. We are also part of Gas Val d'Illasi, a critical consumer group with which we share choices for a more sober life. We can accommodate all year round and we can offer a two-bed room in our house, with shared bathrooms with the rest of the family. We also welcome people who have made the vegetarian choice. We have a cat living in the house. We have welcomed in our home WWOOFers from different countries and are interested in learning more about all the cultures of the world. The country is served by public transport by rail and airport. We speak English and French at school level. You can see some pictures of the farm and wwoofers of the past years on the blog.

I had a great time with Vittorio and Anna. They were very generous to me with delicious meals and Anna teaching me how to play backgammon. The work was easy and I enjoyed it a lot. I helped with tying up their vines, cutting fire wood, and also spent some time helping in the garden and with some small projects around the house. They really care about wwoofers and will do anything for them! I felt very cared for and would recommend a stay here to anyone. It was very kind of them to take and pick me up from the train station on the weekend so I could explore city’s nearby (Venice, Verona).

WWOOFing with Vittorio & Anna!
Nice and homy place. 🏡
Good and useful work to do. :-)
Communication - always. They are both happy to relate with people.
And asking questions results in detailed answers.
Excellent healthy-prepared food.
If you are new in WWOOFing, stay with Vittorio & Anna, and you will know what WWOOFing is all about.

With a friend I went to Vittorio and Anna's “Azienda agricola” for two weeks for the first time as a WWOOFer from October 25th to November 10th, 2025. Our goal was to help with the olive harvest and to gain language skills in the Italian language. After Vittorio instructed us, we spent the first 1.5 weeks busy with the olive harvest. A trusting collaboration arose that ended with us being allowed to go to the olive grove to harvest on our own one morning. After the 1.5 weeks the olive harvest was over and we did small jobs in the garden and around the house and had a lot of free time. Unfortunately, my Italian isn't yet fluent, so we had to switch to English more and more. We were fully integrated into the family and helped with preparing food and then cleaning up the kitchen. The food was always fresh and good. Anna harvested the vegetables from her own garden. Cake and bread were baked together in the spirit of exchanging experiences. The room was shared with my boyfriend. I found the narrow bed to be a disadvantage, but that was bearable for a period of two weeks

Our goal was to help with the olive harvest and to gain language skills in the Italian language. After Vittorio instructed us, we spent the first 1.5 weeks busy with the olive harvest. Care was always taken to ensure that we did not get injured during the harvest. A trusting collaboration arose that ended with us being allowed to go to the olive grove to harvest on our own one morning. We had a great time with Vittorio and Anna! They picked us up from the train station upon arrival and happily drove us to and from the train station for weekend trips! We harvested grapes for two weeks and then worked on miscellaneous jobs for the last two weeks. The food was also delicious!

MERCI
