La nostra azienda si trova sul Gargano, che é molto famoso per il suo parco nazionale e un mare splendido. Siamo residenti della comune di Peschici - un paese piccolo con ca. 4.000 abitanti. La nostra proprietà é in mezzo della natura un po fuori dal paese. Ci sono ca. 2 km per andare al centro e in spiaggia. La nostra passione è la coltivazione delle olive e la produzione di olio di olive extra vergine. Abbiamo ca. 4 ha di terreno da curare e ce sempre da fare. Siamo una coppia tedesca e cerchiamo i wwoofer dal tutto il mondo per passare delle bellissime giornate in allegria e armonia.

Our farm is located in the Gargano, an area which is very famous for its national park and beautiful seashore. We are residents of the town of Peschici - a small village with ca. 4,000 inhabitants. Our property is in emerged in nature about 2 km from the village and the sea. Our passion is cultivating olives and the production of extra virgin olive oil. We have 4 ha of land and there is always plenty to do. We are a German couple and we are looking for wwoofers from all over the world to spend beautiful days in joy and harmony with us.

Ich hatte eine unglaublich tolle Zeit bei Goldie und Knuth!
Die beiden waren sehr lieb und zuvorkommend. Es hat mir an nichts gefehlt und ich wurde liebevoll umsorgt. Ihre beiden Hunde Django und Bruno sind zum verlieben. Auch Ihre Kätzchen waren zuckersüß.
Ich bin sehr wissbegierig und habe tausende Fragen zum Thema Oliven und deren Öl Herstellung gestellt, die mir immer sehr professionell und nachvollziehbar beantwortet wurden.
Die Arbeit war wie beschrieben zum Teil auch äußerst körperlich, jedoch wurde ich keines Wegs unter Druck gesetzt, sondern konnte in meinem Tempo arbeiten, was sehr gut für uns alle funktioniert hat, also keine Scheu. 😜
Ich möchte mich auch hier nochmals für euer Vertrauen, den respektvollen Umgang und eure Freundlichkeit bedanken. 🙏🏼
Ich werde, wenn es sich in Zukunft ergibt, sehr gerne wiederkommen.
P.S. Bruno und Django vermisse ich jetzt schon. ❤️

Goldie and Knuth were wonderful hosts!
They were kind, welcoming and very organised. Due to prior work commitments, they had to leave the farm a few days into our stay, however we were left in the company of their lovely relatives (Uta and Alberto), with whom we worked the remainder of our stay as a big family.
Each day started with a clear set of instructions.
The work in Spring was mainly weeding, watering, some maintenance work and pruning olive trees.
The accomodation was perfect and self contained! Lunch was always 5 stars!!!!
After work, we borrowed their bicycles to ride into town for some of the best gelato we’ve ever had and of course check out the beach. Our time there was very well balanced.
Thank you so much Goldie, Knuth, Uta, Alberto and our little four legged friends! We had an unforgettable time in Peschici (Puglia) and the privilege to experience it as locals.

Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit bei den beiden und wünschte ich wäre länger geblieben! Die Arbeit auf dem Gelände machte mich großen Spaß, die Aufgaben waren sehr gut erklärt und angeleitet und das Arbeitstempo war entspannt. Goldie verwöhnte mich jeden Tag mir unglaublich leckerem und frisch zubereiteten Essen - davon hätte ich gerne mehr in meinem Leben! Für mich war der Aufenthalt einfach nur perfekt und stimmig - ein perfekte Mischung aus Austausch, voneinander lernen, auch Mal entspannt alleine arbeiten, viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück & eine sehr entspannte und herzliche Atmosphäre. Ich habe mich von Anfang bis zum Ende sehr wohl und herzlich aufgenommen gefühlt!

Die Zeit bei Goldi & Knuth und den beiden Jungs – Django und Bruno – war in jeder Hinsicht wertvoll. Wie viel die beiden organisieren, verwerten und mit wie viel Respekt sie dieser Landschaft begegnen, war für mich als großstadtgeschädigte Person eine bereichernde Erfahrung.
Ich war drei Wochen im März dort – eine tolle Zeit, weil noch keine Saison ist und selbst für Italiener*innen alles ruhiger verläuft. Gearbeitet wird sechs Tage die Woche von 8 bis 14 Uhr – mit Pausen und in entspannter Atmosphäre. Die Arbeit war fair und hat Spaß gemacht – auch wenn sie körperlich fordernd war, vor allem für mich als sportliche, aber eben doch klassische Schreibtischtäterin. Gartenarbeit, Holzschnitt, ein bisschen Bügeln – und dann: Orangen, Zitronen oder Fenchel ernten, Radieschen säen. So spürt man wieder die Verbindung zur Natur, die im Stadtleben oft fehlt.
Die Unterkunft war angenehm – man ist unabhängig, aber nicht allein. Mittags wird zusammen gegessen: Goldi kocht super (meist vegetarisch) und zeigt, wie einfach gutes Essen sein kann.
Ich bin mit dem Auto angereist – ja, es ist ein Stück, aber den Gargano zu entdecken (Peschici, Vieste, Monte Sant’Angelo, Foresta Umbra, Vignanotica), war absolut beeindruckend. Die Kommunikation war von Anfang an unkompliziert, offen und herzlich – sogar mit Wegbeschreibung vorab.
Ich bin begeistert und kann das Wwoofen hier nur empfehlen. Ausprobieren, mithelfen, Perspektive wechseln – es war eine richtig gute Zeit. Danke euch! :-)

We stayed with Knuth and Goldie for 2 weeks and everything about it was incredible. The work was simple to understand and interesting as we learned much about farming practices and working with the land in season. The accommodations were great, and Goldie’s home cooked lunches are some of the best I’ve had(don’t tell my mother). Most of the meals are vegetarian but not all and they were very accommodating with allergies. You will have to figure out most breakfasts and dinners for yourself but they offer all the food to you. The sea isn’t too far and they also allow you to take their bikes there. They also have some of the friendliest pets ever who are so sweet and fun to play with. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here to learn and enjoy the company of these two lovely people on this incredibly beautiful land.
