****************************** Our family run farm where 7 of us live and work: Americo and Diana, parents (86 and 76), Piero (42) with his wife Jar (35) and son Jigo of 6 years, and Emanuele (43) who lives here also with Lorenza (37). There are also two cats, some hens and two goats. We have a vineyard of nearly 3 hectares, about 150 olive trees, some fruit trees, a vegetable garden, and we grow everything biologically, even if we are not certified. We have two large restored farmhouses with 7 independent apartments we rent during the year, especially in the summer. The farmhouse may be full only from mid-July to mid-August, and at this time wwoofers can stay in the tents we provide. On the farm there is a "Museum of Rural Civilization in Val Vibrata", a collection of tools and objects that were used in our area up until a few decades ago ... We speak Italian, English and Thai and we have internet connection. The main jobs are those related to the vineyard (pruning, removing leaves etc,) and the cellar (harvesting and bottling). Then there is the olive harvest and the care of the vegetable and the garden. Progetti attuali: Fruits ,Preserving produce,Vineyard,Olives,Vegetables Accesso a Internet disponibile

I stayed at the farm for 2 weeks and it was an amazing time. Me and my friends came at the end of September and mainly helped harvesting the grapes. I loved the family aspect of this, where so many people helped and that we ate lunch together then. Most of the time we worked for four hours. The brothers were very easy to talk to and made it a priority to fulfill our wishes. Overall we were very well taken care of and would like to visit again sometime :)

I spent two weeks on the farm and had a great time. I was there with two good friends. Our main job was harvesting the grapes for the wine. After harvest we always had lunch all together with the family. The food was very delicious and the people were very nice and welcoming which made us feel very comfortable. I'm really happy that it was made possible that we were driven to the beach. We were on the farm most of the time but it wasn't boring at all (if you don't have a car you can't get away). Me and my friends loved swimming in the pool, we read books, played cards and walked a bit around. There was also a ping pong table and a very sweet cat. I'm definitly greatful for this experience!

I wwoofed at Emanuele’s winery for 10 days, and WOW I had the most amazing time ever. This experience was definitely one of the best things I’ve ever done. I learned about the wine making process including the fermentation and bottling. I got to help harvest the grapes in the winery, fertilized some of the rows in the vineyard, harvest olives from the olive trees, and help de-weed their vegetable garden. Everyone at the winery was so kind. Emanuele and his brother Piero were so amazing to talk to. I also got to meet both their wife’s who are also so lovely! Emanuele and Piero’s parents were also so lovely. They cooked us food after the harvest day and hosted me for dinner while celebrating Piero’s son’s birthday. If you ever get a chance to WWOOF at this farm you should do it! I will never forget this experience.
