My husband and I are the owners of a lavender farm here in Abruzzo. We have over a 1000 lavender plants of at least 8 different types , olive and fruit trees and also families of bees. Organic methods: Biological and organic no pesticides used. Jane and Biagio are some of the kindest and generous people I have ever met. They hold a place in my heart with Italy. They made me feel so comfortable like a proper home, they cooked home made meals everyday. They gave us the opportunity to harvest honey and olive oil, they even took us to see the production of it which was so special! I got to take beautiful walks with the dog they also provided everything needed to complete the tasks at hand in a stress free atmosphere. Abruzzolavanda was exactly where I needed to be at the right moment and I thank their warmth and generosity of making it one of the best experiences and trips in my life. ❤️ 🐶 🌸 🍯 🐝 🕷️ 🦟

It was a truly wonderful experience. I experienced everything from harvesting olives to making olive oil, baked pizza together in the garden, and enjoyed a local Italian market and meal. It was all an unforgettable experience. They were always kind and considerate, and the view from the house was amazing. It was a very comfortable stay, and my 10 days stay was far too short. Thank you so much!!

I had a lovely week at Jane and Biagio’s farm. They are very welcoming and kind people. The food was always great, the work was rewarding and they really take care of you. I spent time pruning the lavender, helping with de-weeding and planting, and walking dumbo (the dog) on amazing, scenic walks. We went for drinks and dinner in Vasto (a pretty and nearby town), went to a great wine festival, and had ice cream in Casalbordino. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to a friend.

We had a wonderful time at Abruzzolavanda. It’s a truly idyllic and peaceful place in a stunning location in the beautiful Abruzzo region. Our children absolutely loved spending time with Dumbo — she’s such a sweetheart. Jane and Biagio are incredibly kind and attentive hosts; we felt very much at home, also enjoying their delicious homemade bread and pizza. Working in the lavender fields was not only enjoyable, but also great for our fitness levels. ;) It was fascinating to learn how much love and dedication goes into caring for the plants with the aim of creating lavender products. We also helped look after other plants around the property and ran a few errands for our hosts. All in all, it was a truly wonderful WWOOFing experience — one that will stay in our hearts forever. Thank you so much for everything!

I spend a wonderful week at Abruzzolavanda! :) Jane and Biagio were so kind and lovely. They always made sure that I felt welcome. There where a few different task that I was doing. I walked the dog, watered the plants, helped them with some renovation works. Of course I was also planting lavender and enjoyed the beautiful view when doing so. After the work Jane and biagio took me to the Beach or we spend the evening together. I could not thank them enough and I would recommand visiting there Place if you get the chance :)
