Organic farm in the most beautiful corner of Tuscany

The farm is located in one of the most scenic spots of all Italy - the corner of the Val d'Orcia and the Colli Senesi - overlooking the picturesque Tuscan rolling hills that you would know from tourist guide covers. 5 minutes away is the small Tuscan hilltop village Trequanda, the shopping centres of Sinalunga/Valdichiana are a 15 minute drive and Siena is around 40 minutes away. The tourist towns of Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino are all around 25 minutes from here.
We have acquired the farm two years ago and are now in the process of putting it back to its former beauty. Grain, wine and olives have already been grown on our fertile grounds since the Roman and Etruscan times. I have made it my live's dream to create an inspiring place in this little corner of paradise. As first step, we have transformed the farm into all biological. We already home chicken, cats and our beloved dog, and currently think of which other animals could be suitable for us. The main agricultural product are the grapes from our 15 hectare vineyard. We also have some 100 olive trees. Additionally, we have now planted fields with legumes to prepare them for planting many more olive trees.
At the moment, we do mainly landscaping and gardening of the external areas, painting rooms and wine-related things. The hands-on experiences are on five days a week. Food is all supplied. As part of living here you will also be expected to contribute your share of keeping the structure clean.
There is absolutely no traffic noise and a stunning night-sky with very little light pollution.
Transport: we have a car (standard; no automatic) here on property, which can be borrowed for occasional use. We will gladly pick you up from a nearby train station upon your arrival.
Belsedere is in a highly touristic area for those who want to explore. Cycling, hiking and running are definitely more than amazing here. For those who want to rest in the sun or in the shade, reading a book or taking walks through the vine, this place is also the right one with its natural beauty and peaceful quietness.

L'agriturismo è situato in uno dei luoghi più panoramici d'Italia, all'angolo tra la Val d'Orcia e i Colli Senesi, affacciato sulle pittoresche colline toscane che potete ammirare sulle copertine delle guide turistiche. A 5 minuti di distanza si trova il piccolo borgo toscano di Trequanda, i centri commerciali di Sinalunga/Valdichiana sono a 15 minuti di auto e Siena è a circa 40 minuti. Le città turistiche di Pienza, Montepulciano e Montalcino distano tutte circa 25 minuti da qui.
Abbiamo acquistato l'azienda agricola due anni fa e ora stiamo lavorando per riportarla al suo antico splendore. Già dai tempi dei Romani e degli Etruschi, sui nostri terreni fertili si coltivavano cereali, vino e olive. Ho fatto del mio sogno di vita quello di creare un luogo stimolante in questo piccolo angolo di paradiso. Come primo passo, abbiamo trasformato l'azienda agricola in biologica. Abbiamo già polli, gatti e il nostro amato cane, e attualmente stiamo pensando a quali altri animali potrebbero essere adatti a noi. Il principale prodotto agricolo sono le uve del nostro vigneto di 15 ettari. Abbiamo anche circa 100 ulivi. Inoltre, abbiamo piantato campi con legumi per prepararli alla piantumazione di molti altri ulivi.
Al momento, ci occupiamo principalmente della cura del paesaggio e del giardinaggio delle aree esterne, della imbiancatura delle stanze e di attività legate al vino. Le esperienze pratiche si svolgono cinque giorni alla settimana. Il cibo è interamente fornito. Come parte della vita qui, ci si aspetta che contribuisciate alla pulizia e alla manutenzione della struttura.
Non c'è assolutamente alcun rumore del traffico e il cielo notturno è stupendo, con pochissimo inquinamento luminoso.
Trasporti: abbiamo un'auto (standard, non automatica) qui nella proprietà, che può essere presa in prestito per un uso occasionale. Saremo lieti di venirti a prendere alla stazione ferroviaria più vicina al tuo arrivo.
Belsedere si trova in una zona altamente turistica per chi desidera esplorare i dintorni. Andare in bicicletta, fare escursioni e correre sono attività decisamente più che fantastiche qui. Per chi desidera riposarsi al sole o all'ombra, leggere un libro o fare passeggiate tra i vigneti, questo posto è perfetto con la sua bellezza naturale e la sua tranquilla quiete.

Belsedere è un luogo incantato e sospeso nel tempo con una lunghissima storia ancora percepibile.
Intorno al grande podere ci sono colline a perdta d'occhio delle Crete Senesi, il distacco è assoluto e l'integrazione con la natura circostante notevole, ci si sveglia al mattino in un tripudio di cinguettii di ogni specie.
Martin è un ottimo host, intelligente, organizzato e molto cortese.
Le giornate vengono elaborate in base alle esigenze del periodo e c'è sempre qualcosa da fare, si alloggia in grandi stanze singole e ben scaldate in inverno, è presente più di una rete WiFi.
È il uogo ideale per fare lunghe passeggiate o rimanere del tempo a perdersi nei meravigliosi colori delle colline circostanti.
Martin mette a disposizione un automobile, utilissima per poter visitare la notevole zona.
Si ha la possibilità di farsi la spesa (a carico della casa) così da avere a disposizione tutto ciò che la propria dieta richiede.
Ho stretto dei bei legami e credo che tra non molto ci rivedremo.

Borgo Belsedere is the perfect place to volunteer. I've learned a lot with my tasks and with everyone. Franziska, Martin and Doro are kind and made me feel at home from the first day. They are building an awesome retreat, which is located in a beautiful part of Tuscany. You are not gonna believe the sunsets. They have a great pool and the food is amazing! got luck to be accepted here and wish came back to this awesome place in the future. Thank you guys for the amazing experience!

I spent the best days of my March at Belsedere. It was the season when I felt the breath of spring, and I was able to see various expressions of nature in the already beautiful scenery of Tuscany. I wasn't confident in my English, but Wi-Fi was also available, so I had no trouble volunteering. I also couldn't miss the culture of the volunteers who came from about 10 countries.
There are other things I want to write about, but others have already written about them so I will skip them.
