Ciao from the Tuscan Mountains! Welcome to our offbeat little haven tucked away in the hills of northern Tuscany—500 meters above sea level, surrounded by chestnut forests, mischievous wild boars, and sunsets that’ll make your heart swell. We’re cultivating something a little wild and wonderful: a mountain farmstead where daily life is a mix of earth, laughter, and elbow grease. We’re looking for kindred spirits who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. There’s always something going on—think stone steps that need laying (or relaying), garden beds to build, brush to clear, paths to restore, tools to fix, trees to trim, veggies to harvest, compost to turn, and a million other tasks that keep a mountain farm ticking. We'd love to hear from you if you have practical skills or an earnest desire to learn by doing. What’s in it for you? Aside from the calluses and a new appreciation for manual labor, you’ll enjoy hearty meals (yes, that includes plenty of pasta), good company, and the kind of silence at night that city dwellers write poems about. We’re within reach of medieval villages, hiking trails, and natural springs, if you fancy exploring on your time off. A bit about us: We’re a somewhat eccentric bunch who believe in honest work, good wine, and laughing until your belly hurts. This is not a “just chill and water the basil” gig—we work hard and celebrate often. Expect music, bonfires, and the occasional philosophical debate about whether zucchini are taking over the world. Join us if you’re up for a wild ride in the mountains. You won’t regret it and probably won’t forget it either. #WWOOFItaly, #TuscanyLife, #FarmVolunteering, #OrganicFarm, #SustainableLiving, #MountainRetreat, #HandsOnWork, #EcoLiving, #OffGridAdventure, #NatureLovers, #FarmLife, #RuralEscape, #HomesteadVibes, #GrowYourOwnFood, #VolunteeringAbroad, #SimpleLiving, #BackToNature, #PermacultureFarm, #CountryLife, #WWOOFAdventure, #GreenLiving, #EarthConnection, #WorkAndTravel, #RusticLife, #CommunityLiving, #ItalianMountains, #WWOOFExperience, #AlternativeLifestyle, #GardeningLife, #HelpOnTheFarm

Couldn't imagine a better first WWOOFing experience. The location is beautiful — surrounded by mountains yet close to the sea. I mostly did woodworking and helped prepare the property for winter. Really enjoyed Brian’s tasty food, the cozy and artfully painted accommodation, playing Dominoes in the evening, and the peaceful atmosphere. Thanks! :)

My stay at Casali was nothing short of amazing. The location is breathtakingly beautiful and it was a very comfortable stay. Brian made me feel right at home and he is an incredibly good cook so the meals were delicious! The work was rewarding and varied in nature so it never got boring. I had lots of fun and my hosts were great company, they are also very skilled in the ancient art of Dominoes. We had many laughs and good times. If had the chance to stay here again I’d take it up in a heartbeat! 10/10 :)

Brian is an excellent cook, the accommodation is clean and organized, and the location is beautiful. Most of the daily tasks involve gardening. He is a communicative and kind host. Highly recommended!
