------------------------------- Since 2016 I run a vegetable garden using biointensive method in Costigliole d'Asti in the Astesana hills, Piedmont. I distribute my products through the CSA model (Community that supports agriculture) and to local restaurants. On the farm there is an agritourism kitchen and a laboratory for processing vegetable and fruit. In the garden you can experience all the stages of vegetable growing: the sowing, the production of seedlings in the internal nursery, the seeds saving, the cultivation in the open field and in greenhouses with the biointensive method, the harvesting and the local distribution . In addition, the production of pickls, jams and other products starting from vegetables. The activity also includes the building of networks and collaborations with other agricultural and non-agricultural organization and people, which are involved in the cultural events hoisted in the garden. Every week there are two days of harvesting and distribution of vegetable, while the other days of the week the activities are very diversifie. The care of the vegetable garden and the fruit trees, the transformation in the laboratory when there is an abundance of production and the organization of farm to table events in the garden. Wwoofers who want to share these experiences will be accommodated in a single bedroom, with shared bathroom and kitchen, in the house that is in the middle of the garden. My favorite activities here are being outdoors, building relationships, exploring the hills of southern Piedmont (Astesana, Langhe, Roero and Monferrato), swimming in the river, cycling, cooking, reading . I love to organize events that involve a young audience responsive to sustainability, agroecology, activism.

I had a very good experience working at Duipuvrun. It was the first farm where there was so many luxury. I had my own room with private bathroom, there was wifi and a dishwasher. Lot's of comfort. And the house was very pleasant to stay there, he had a very good taste. The work was very relaxing because of the farmers attitudes. Beginning at 8:30 and ending at 17. The were normal hours. And thow they didn't take siësta, I was allowed to take a nap. For the first time I was treated like an equal and not as a slave who you can ask everything. They asked everytime if a task was feasible, wich I appreciate. And thow it was to hot for the time of the year, I enjoyed working in the garden. The boys made my stay very pleasant and gave lot's of good tips and useful information. Grazie a tutto.

My week on Duipuvrun was awesome, I had fun learning about agriculture and getting to know the farm family. Everybody was welcoming and every day ran smoothly. The daily work I encountered was mainly harvesting in the garden, sorting out chickpeas and helping with orders. I had the opportunity to go out to a food event in Pollenzo and a day trip in Turin. The best bit was getting to try and eat all the organic and local produce. It was a week of gastronomical pleasure! Thank you all for the lovely experience

I had a wonderful week at Duipuvrun. Stefano is a great and passionate host and together with Andreia and Maria I felt immediately at home. They are very hard working and inspiring people. The work on the farm is very diverse. From harvesting tomatoes, onions... to delivering vegetables to restaurants and even making passata... :) It was also very interesting talking to Stefano and listening to his story on how he started this project. Thank you for the great week and the best first WWOOf experience!

I'm very happy to end up in Duipuvrun!!!!!! My stay in the place felt short. From the first moment you feel very welcomed, all the people around the project is lovely, with amazing mindsets and with patience, also they are very compromised on what they are doing. Gave me hope. You will do different types of tasks, surrounded by a landscape that takes your breath away, always with fun, learning a lot about agriculture, and other subjects, because also the social awareness it's very important for them ! And of course you will end up loving the carxofis !!! There's no way that the fight of this project will leave you indifferent! Stefano is an amazing and caring host, you will share very good moments and conversations. Very kind how he shares his life to all the community to spread a belief, gives a lot of confidence and it has been a pleasure to be able to share these days with him !

It has been truly inspiring to stay at Stefano’s azienda. Stayed for a week at this unique place. In this short time I was impressed by the way Stefano and his friends are working together. They are really passionate, creative, dedicated people who work with a lot of care for eachother and their environment. I learned a lot about working in the field. And even more I learned about a way of farming connected to the bigger community. Talking with Stefano about the story, the development of the place and the challenges has been interesting. Stefano is open minded, easy-going and intelligent. You can see he has the gift to connect people. Stefano and his friends are very welcoming and I felt at home instantly. I very much enjoyed the work in the glasshouse and the fields. The work is really divers, everyday is different. Most of all I loved meeting a lot of Stefano’s friends, colleagues and family. Lovely and fun people. Who were also really patient with me trying to speak Italian. Grazie millione!!!
