Prepariamo marmellate, succhi, canditi.

We are in the heart of the Itria Valley, 1.5 km from Masseria Frascarosa, 4 km from Martina Franca, 4.5 km from the Ashram, 7 km from Locorotondo, 7.5 km from Cisternino, 16 km from Ostuni, 20 km from the Sea(Free beach near Torre Canne), 17 km from Ceglie Messapica, and 18 km from Alberobello. The most of this places you can go by bus or train.
This pristine area boasts a high level of biodiversity, with small pine groves, centuries-old olive trees, cypresses, and other native and spontaneous plants.
Amidst this Mediterranean scrub, we have a small orchard with 3 plum trees, 3 pear trees, 2 black cherries, 3 almond trees, 3 olive trees, 3 roses, 3 cypresses, 1 walnut tree, 1 bougainvillea, and more.
We share our space with fireflies, butterflies of various colors, ladybugs, geckos, lizards, many pollinating insects, even the increasingly rare wild bees, and countless species of birds and nomads cats.
We use very little gas, and less oil, or any type of chemical; we use dry pruning firewood for cooking and heating in a Nordica kitchen with an oven, a brazier, a chimney and a pyrolytic stove. We cultivate the land by hand, following the principles of permaculture, agroecology, and biodynamics.
We enjoy bartering.
We primarily use existing resources and our own hands, seeking to find a dimension as close as possible to nature and our wildest, most instinctive, and creative side.
This place aims to become a meeting place, a place of eco-sustainable culture, and low waste production.
Moments of quiet solitude are easy to find.
We also organize musical gatherings and jam sessions, including impromptu improvisations and creations of the moment.
We have one rule: RESPECT (for all humans, plants, and animals); we apply true democracy to all decisions: even those who are passing by have a say in our choices and potential new paths to take.
We eat as much natural and eco-sustainable food as possible; we prepare our dishes by blending Mediterranean cuisine, various ethnic influences, macrobiotics, flavorful cuisine, and super-natural creaminess. Everything is vegan, with the exception of eggs from semi-free-range birds that eat healthily, and honey from those who don't use chemicals and leave three-quarters of their products to the bees. We strive to combine the healthy with the delicious in the kitchen, and we try to do the same in life in general, practicing completely natural self-care and producing our own detergents.
We have a home restaurant with mostly local, super-natural products, primarily from ancient seeds, which will open in the second half of July.
We make jams, juices, and candied fruit.
Wwoofers can stay on a veranda, for both couples and individuals, in a tent (we have one large or two narrow tents available, or one camper spot on the property).
To Wwofers Is request 4 hours work for day for 5 days in a week.
Cooking and dishwashing are rotated spontaneously and self-organized, except on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, which follow the home restaurant hours.
Bicycles are our preferred means of transportation, for shopping, and for getting water, and we'll occasionally organize short tours.
We're currently in the process of renovating/beautifying, and at the end of July, we'll begin preparing the ground for the winter vegetable gardens, with heirloom seeds and seedlings purchased from natural nurseries that use heirloom seeds.
