Ciao sono Giacomo e vivo da solo sulla mia fattoria.
L'attività principale della mia realta è la coltivazione delle melagrane, per la vendita fresca o trasformate in succo o aceto.
Mi trovo a Grottaglie ai piedi della Valle d'Itria dove il Mar Jonio inizia a intravedersi, qui coltivo 3 ettari di frutteto dove ho gia iniziato una grande trasformazione in AgroForesta per poter giungere nell arco di 7.8 anni al mio progetto di OASI ZEROCHIMICA..
Al centro del terreno ho costruito la mia utile e comoda casa con 1 solo posto letto per gli ospiti al momento.

L alloggio è quello dove vivo io stesso, una casa di c.a 50mq con una stanzetta con 1 letto singolo disponobile per gli ospiti.

Per i pasti si usano tutti prodotti principalmente aziendali, visto che sono autosufficente da questo punto di vista.
Sveglia alle 6.30, colazione e poi si esce a fare le varie attività sopra elencate, in funzione della giornata, clima e meteo.
Nei dintorni abbiamo diverse coste e mare meraviglioso. Si puo visitare a pochi km Ostuni, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Cisternino, Taranto, ma anche il quartiere delle Ceramiche di Grottaglie.
Adoro la musica classica, ma anche anni 80 e soprattutto il grande Maestro Franco Battiato.

Hi I'm Giacomo and I live alone on my farm.
My main activity is the cultivation of pomegranates, for sale fresh or processed into juice or vinegar.
I am located in Grottaglie at the foot of the Itria Valley, where you can glimpse the Ionian Sea. Here, I cultivate 3 hectares of orchards, where I have already begun a major transformation into an agroforestry system in order to achieve my ZERO CHEMICAL OASIS project within 7-8 years.
In the centre of the land, I have built my useful and comfortable home with only one extra bed for WWOOFers at the moment. The activities we can do are: Harvesting pomegranates
Extracting juice
Producing juice for vinegar production
Making jams
Harvesting olives
Harvesting wine grapes and vinification
Preparing the land, sowing and harvesting cereals and legumes
Producing flour
Preparing the land and transplanting vegetables
Harvesting citrus fruits
Producing cheese with milk from nearby farms (for personal use).
Accommodation is my small 50 square metres house with a small room with one single bed available for guests.

Wake up at 6.30 a.m., breakfast and then we go out to do the various activities listed above, depending on the day, climate and weather.
In the surrounding area, we have a number of beautiful coastlines and beaches. A few kilometres away, you can visit Ostuni, Martina Franca, Alberobello, Cisternino, Taranto, and the ceramics district of Grottaglie.
I love classical music, but also the 80s and, above all, the great maestro Franco Battiato.
