Siamo Pietro e Frida ed insieme ai nostri tre bambini (Elia 11 anni, Samuele 8 e Camilla 5) viviamo in un vecchio casale di pietra nell'Appennino tosco-emiliano. Oltre alla nostra famiglia ci sono circa 20 galline e galli, in primavera e estate anche pulcini, 4 gatti e 1 coniglio nano. Abbiamo un'orto per l'uso familiare.
Pietro sta costruendo l'azienda agricola su 11 ettari con delle colture di piccoli frutti come lamponi, uva spina, fragole e more, patate e tanto bosco. Tutto l'anno abbiamo bisogno di una mano nell'orto, nei campi, per piantare, curare, innaffiare, raccogliere e costruire recinti e a fare la legna per l'inverno.
Siamo in questo posto meraviglioso circondato da bosco e monti da solo 4 anni per cui ci sono tante cose ancora da costruire... come tettoie per la legna o una serra per le piantine.
Uno dei nostri sogni è di creare un Agricampeggio qui nel bosco in cui accogliere turisti ed amici. Per ora affittiamo un'appartamento nel secondo piano del nostro casale come BnB. Lì accogliamo anche persone che partecipano ai corsi di ceramica di Frida.
Qualche volta vi potremmo chiedere di stare con i nostri bimbi o di dare una mano con i compiti quotidiani in cucina e casa, per fare marmellate, sciroppi o passata di pomodoro.
I wwoofers saranno ospitati in una camera qui in casa oppure in tenda (in estate) se lo desiderano.
I pasti li prendiamo insieme nella nostra cucina. Qualche volta può capitare che chiediamo ai wwoofers di autoorganizzarsi nella cucina per gli ospti nella taverna della nostra casa.
Frida è ceramista e sta lavorando quasi tutti i giorni nel suo laboratorio giù nella nostra casa. Sta creando delle ceramiche per la vendita e insegna ad adulti e bambini. Se vorrai potrai provare il tornio mentre vivi con noi.
Frida è tedesca per cui parliamo sia l'italiano che anche il tedesco in casa. Suoniamo la fisarmoncia, il piano e un po' di chitarra.
Il paese più vicino dista 15 minuti in macchina, ci sono delle terme vicino a noi e tanti sentieri bellissimi per fare trekking e passeggiate.

We are Pietro and Frida and with our 3 children (Elia 9 years, Samuele 6 years and Camilla 3 ) we are living in an old stone house in the Apennines between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna. We have a vegetable garden, some fruit trees, 4 chicken and 3 cats that live with us. Pietro is building up a farm on our 11 hectars land (wood and farmland) with cultures like raspberries, blueberries and other berry fruits. All the year round we need help with farming, planting, gardening, building fences or making wood. We are here just since 2 years so there are a lot of things to construct like sheds for tools or wood, a greenhouse for our plants or a playground for children and guests. One of our dreams is to create an “Agri-campeggio”, a camping place for tourists at our farm. If you have skills like carpentry and repairing it would be perfect. It’s possible that we ask you sometimes to stay with the children or to help in the kitchen with the daily tasks (cooking, cleaning up) or when we make marmalades or tomato sauce. Frida is a potter and she’s working nearly every day in her studio in the lower part of our house. She creates stoneware pottery for selling and teaches this handcraft to adults and children. Of course you will have the possibility to try the pottery wheel while you live with us. We speak Italian and German in our family and like to teach it to who wants.
The volunteer helpers will be accommodated in a room of the house or if they want in a tent in the garden (in the summer).
