Ciao , mi chiamo Pier Angelo , vivo a Frassinello Monferrato con mia moglie Ornella e un gatto.
Abbiamo dato vita all'Az. Agr. La Tommasina , vini naturali per passione perche' crediamo nel rispetto della tradizione e della natura. Coltiviamo i vitigni tradizionali del Monferrato e vinifichiamo come una volta senza lieviti aggiunti ma seguendo gli insegnamenti della natura e i suoi tempi.
Oltre al vigneto nel periodo primavera-estate curiamo un piccolo orto dove produciamo ortaggi per il consumo familiare.
Il paese in cui ci troviamo è un piccolo comune con negozi essenziali (macelleria , alimentari) , un pub ,un ristorante e un circolo , tutti raggiungibili in 5 min a piedi .
Ogni tanto vengono clienti a degustare I vini e partecipiamo , soprattutto durante i week-end, a fiere per promuoverli.
La giornata lavorativa è in funzione della stagione e dall'andamento del vigneto .
Le operazioni che si susseguono nel tempo sono :
- inverno potatura e stralciatura . In cantina travasi e affinamento vini
- primavera legatura tralci , spollonatura e inizio raddrizzamento tralci. In cantina travaso e affinamento vini , primo ciclo di imbottigliamento .
- estate raddrizzamento tralci e zappatura interceppi . In cantina secondo ciclo di imbottigliamento e preparazione botti per vendemmia
- autunno vendemmia e attività di produzione vino in cantina
Mi piacerebbe insegnare ai WWOOFer le tecniche (manuali) utilizzate in vigna descritte precedentemente
Abbiamo 2 camere a disposizione con bagno privato . I pasti si svolgono nel modo segiente :
- colazione locale a disposizione riservato per preparare in autonomia cibi caldi e freddi
- pranzo e cena si puo' consumare insieme oppure possono essere autonomi nel locale della colazione
La nostra passione è la campagna comunque si possono raggiungere facilmente (max 1 ora di macchina) mare , laghi e montagna.
E' possibile fare escursioni in bicicletta o a piedi e visitare i paesi e citta' vicine.

Hi, my name is Pier Angelo, I live in Frassinello Monferrato with my wife Ornella and a cat.
We created the Az. Agr. La Tommasina, natural wines for passion because we believe in respecting tradition and nature. We grow the traditional vines of Monferrato and we make wine as they once did without added yeasts but following the teachings of nature and its times.
In addition to the vineyard in the spring-summer period we take care of a small vegetable garden where we produce vegetables for family consumption.
The town where we are located is a small municipality with essential shops (butcher, grocery store), a pub, a restaurant and a club, all reachable in 5 minutes on foot.
Every now and then customers come to taste the wines and we participate, especially during the weekends, in fairs to promote them.
The working day depends on the season and the progress of the vineyard.
The operations that follow one another over time are:
- winter pruning and weeding. In the cellar, decanting and wine refining
- spring tying shoots, suckering and beginning of straightening shoots. In the cellar, decanting and wine refining, first bottling cycle.
- summer straightening shoots and hoeing between vines. In the cellar, second bottling cycle and preparation of barrels for the harvest
- autumn harvest and wine production activities in the cellar
I would like to teach WWOOFers the (manual) techniques used in the vineyard described previously
We have 2 rooms available with private bathroom. Meals are carried out as follows:
- breakfast, local area available reserved to independently prepare hot and cold foods
- lunch and dinner can be consumed together or can be autonomous in the breakfast room
Our passion is the countryside, however you can easily reach (max 1 hour by car) the sea, lakes and mountains.
It is possible to go on excursions by bike or on foot and visit the nearby towns and cities.
