Hi. I'm Monica and together with my husband David, we have relaunched a 300-year old farm that was left abandoned a few years ago. Its 8 hectares are on the hills making it an interesting challenge. We serve our produce (or transform and sell it) at our own restaurant. We also have 6 bedrooms for guests... We have a variety of farm animals as well as several cats and Lola, the dog
The day always starts with checking out on the animals, ensuring they have food, water and are generally speaking in a happy mood. All other jobs are seasonal. Anything between keeping the land clean, cutting wood for the winter, throwing horse manure on the fields, planting, weeding, harvesting, transforming, repairing, ...
We provide a room with a private shower. Breakfasts are usually whatever you wish for since we also cater for hosts staying in our farm-house. We enjoy having a meal together in the evening but if you wish for more privacy, not a problem for us. We can cater for most dietary requirements if needed (better check in advance). There's plenty of space both in and out.
We'd love to have more hobbies but time is a rare commodity. This being said, we love travelling, walking, discovering and trying out food.
Within the area, there is so much that you can do: from hiking in the nearby hills all the way to visiting Venice.

La giornata inizia sempre controllando gli animali, assicurandosi che abbiano cibo, acqua e che siano generalmente di buon umore. Tutti gli altri lavori sono stagionali. Qualsiasi cosa, dal mantenere la terra pulita, tagliare legna per l'inverno, gettare letame di cavallo nei campi, piantare, dierbo, raccogliere, trasformare, riparare, ...
Offriamo una stanza con doccia privata. Le colazioni sono di solito quelle che desideri, dato che ci occupiamo anche di ospiti che alloggiano nella nostra fattoria. Ci piace mangiare insieme la sera, ma se desideri più privacy, per noi non è un problema. Possiamo soddisfare la maggior parte delle esigenze alimentari se necessario (meglio verificare in anticipo). C'è molto spazio sia dentro che fuori.
Ci piacerebbe avere più hobby, ma il tempo è una risorsa rara. Detto questo, amiamo viaggiare, camminare, scoprire e provare il cibo. All'interno della zona, c'è molto che si può fare: dalle escursioni sulle colline vicine fino alla visita a Venezia.
