Ciao, sono Barbara, insieme a mio marito Giovanni e mia figlia Anna, viviamo in una grande casa in mezzo al bosco, ove un tempo vi era un eremo di frati. Quando siamo arrivati qui ci siamo sentiti subito di essere in un luogo magico, abbiamo iniziato ad accogliere in questo luogo diversi animali (alcuni di essi salvati dal macello altri da maltrattamenti), galline, asini, pecore, oche, conigli, tartarughe di terra e di acqua, oltre a cani e circa 40 gatti.
Nel nostro terreno abbiamo un uliveto biologico di circa 100 alberi con cui produciamo olio. Per poterci sostenere e soprattutto per poter provvedere alle necessità ed alle spese dei nostri animali, abbiamo avviato un progetto di b&b alternativo immerso nel bosco e nella fattoria, in cui i gatti hanno un ruolo predominante. Per tale motivo sottolineiamo che è fondamentale non avere allergie agli animali ed ai gatti in particolare per poter vivere qui. Qui i metodi di coltivazione sono biologici e naturalistici, ci si occupa degli animali e della terra che ci ospita e ci nutre. Oltre all'uliveto c'è un bosco di bambù gigante ed una parte con alberi di acacia, sambuchi, noccioli, ecc. Il lavoro richiesto è al massimo per 5 ore al giorno, in queste ore si richiede di lavorare attivamente però, in caso contrario non siamo disposti ad ospitarvi. Nelle ore di lavoro, prevalentemente al mattino, può essere richiesto di lavorare dentro e/o furori di casa. I lavori all'esterno riguardano principalmente gli animali, accudimento, pulizia delle stalle e manutenzione dei recinti, manutenzione del giardino e del bosco con taglio legna e taglio erba, realizzazione (insieme a me) dei progetti di abbellimento e utilità per gli ospiti della casa, con progetti di bagno in giardino ecologico, compost toilet, casa sull'albero, ecc.
Offriamo stanza in roulotte completamente ristrutturata immersa nel bosco, molto spaziosa e luminosa, oppure stanza all'interno di casa con bagno condiviso con noi, a seconda delle disponibilità del momento. Al momento i servizi sono all'interno della struttura principale, ove vengono preparati e serviti anche 3 pasti al giorno: colazione, pranzo e cena. La cucina è cucina contadina onnivora, anche se la carne viene cucinata raramente, soprattutto nel periodo estivo. I formaggi sono fatti in casa, così come le marmellate, le conserve, il pane, la piadina, ecc. Nel tempo libero potete passeggiare nel bosco e fino al vicinissimo lago (15 minuti a piedi), godere del panorama, utilizzare sedie e sdrai, ecc, presenti nel giardino, DANDO SEMPRE LA PRECEDENZA AGLI OSPITI. In giardino è presente anche piscina, tinozza finlandese e doccia solare che rimangono prevalentemente ad uso esclusivo degli ospiti, salvo accordi diversi. Gli animali possono essere accettati se compatibili con quelli già presenti qui e con la struttura.
Io ho una formazione olistica con un percorso di massaggi, cristalloterapia e medicina cinese. Ho la passione per il legno ed in generale mi occupo della progettazione, realizzazione e manutenzione della maggior parte delle opere che potrete vedere qui, dalle stalle alle panchine, alla struttura della piscina, bagno esterno ecc.
Mio marito ha invece la passione per la cucina e dato che per problemi di salute non è più in grado di fare alcuni lavori, si dedica a tale passione preparando i formaggi e le altre pietanze.
Hi, I'm Barbara, together with my husband Giovanni and my daughter Anna, we live in a large house in the middle of the woods, where once there was a hermitage of friars. When we arrived here we immediately felt like we were in a magical place, we started to welcome in this place different animals (some of them saved from the slaughterhouse others from mistreatment), chickens, donkeys, sheep, geese, rabbits, land and water turtles, as well as dogs and about 40 cats.
On our land we have an organic olive grove of about 100 trees with which we produce oil. In order to support ourselves and above all to be able to provide for the needs and expenses of our animals, we have started an alternative B&B project immersed in the woods and on the farm, in which cats have a predominant role. For this reason we emphasize that it is essential not to have allergies to animals and cats in particular to be able to live here. Here the cultivation methods are organic and naturalistic, we take care of the animals and the land that hosts and nourishes us. In addition to the olive grove there is a giant bamboo forest and a part with acacia trees, elderberries, hazelnuts, etc. The work required is a maximum of 5 hours a day, during these hours we ask you to work actively however, otherwise we are not willing to host you. During working hours, mainly in the morning, you may be asked to work inside and/or outside the house. The outside work concerns the animals, care, cleaning of the stables and maintenance of the fences, maintenance of the garden and the forest with wood cutting and grass cutting, creation (together with me) of beautification and utility projects for the guests of the house, with projects for an ecological garden bathroom, compost toilet, tree house, etc.
We offer a room in a completely renovated caravan immersed in the woods, very spacious and bright, or a room inside the house with a bathroom shared with us, depending on availability at the time. At the moment the services are inside the main building, where 3 meals a day are prepared and served: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cuisine is omnivorous peasant cuisine, even if meat is rarely cooked, especially in the summer. The cheeses are homemade, as are the jams, preserves, bread, piadina, etc. I have a holistic education with a course in massage, crystal therapy and Chinese medicine. I have a passion for wood and in general I deal with the design, construction and maintenance of most of the works that you can see here, from the stables to the benches, to the structure of the swimming pool, outdoor bathroom etc.
In your free time you can walk in the woods and to the nearby lake (15 minutes walk), enjoy the view, use the chairs and deck chairs, etc., in the garden, ALWAYS GIVING PRIORITY TO GUESTS. In the garden there is also a swimming pool, Finnish tub and solar shower which remain mainly for the exclusive use of guests, unless otherwise agreed. Pets can be accepted if compatible with those already present here and with the structure.
My husband has a passion for cooking and since he is no longer able to do some jobs due to health problems, he dedicates himself to this passion by preparing cheeses and other dishes.
